Key insights

  • Mad Streets was added to Xbox Game Pass on October 7th.
  • The brutal and comical multiplayer brawler is available on all non-core tiers of the Microsoft subscription service.
  • It has already been confirmed that two more titles will be available for Xbox Game Pass before the end of October 2024.

Xbox Game Pass added Crazy streets to its ever-growing content library. This is the second new title to hit Xbox Game Pass since early October 2024.

Developed by Canada-based studio Craftsshop Arts, Crazy streets is a party game where up to four players can experience “physics-driven chaos” by brawling with each other. It was originally released in August 2021 for the latest two generations of Xbox consoles before making its way to PC and the now-defunct Google Stadia service in March 2022. Crazy streets has been warmly received by the player base, highlighted by the fact that it currently boasts “very positive” user reviews on Steam.

Mad Streets expands the range of multiplayer games for Xbox Game Pass

Shortly after its two-year release anniversary, Craftshop Arts' debut title was added to Microsoft's subscription service, arriving on Monday, October 7th. Since this is not a day one release, Crazy streets has been made available to all non-core tiers of Xbox Game Pass. The PC version has an unusual feature: it does not support mouse and keyboard controls, but requires a controller to play.

Crazy streets has expanded the already large selection of Xbox Game Pass multiplayer experiences. In addition to the promise of brutal and comical gameplay, the party brawler also offers an attractive offer for trophy hunters, as it comes with ten easy achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore points. And although they can all be obtained by playing with bots, Crazy streets really shines with a party, especially since it even offers split-screen support, which is quite a rarity in today's gaming landscape.
