Elden Ring NightreignThe announcement surprised fans for several reasons. First, Elden Ring NightreignDevelopment was kept completely secret from the gaming public, which is a rarity for a modern AAA game, especially such a renowned franchise. Secondly, Elden Ring Nightreign is unlike anything FromSoftware has ever done before.
Based on the reveal trailer and accompanying press release: Elden Ring Nightreign seems to be a strange mix of roguelike and action RPG, with a dash of battle royale thrown in for good measure. Night Reign is a completely new beast for FromSoftware, but it seems to balance the new with a lot of the old. While Elden Ring Nightreign will have plenty of new bosses for players to face off against, there will also be a few returning bosses from FromSoft's past, and there are a few more familiar faces that should make the cut.
