To find it in there Lies from Pyou first have to reach the doll workshop where Lorenzini Venigni is trapped. For reference, this is the area immediately after the fight with the crazy donkey. Once you reach this area at the Union Culvert Stargazer Workshop, you can find the Booster Glaive nearby with relative ease.
Updated November 1, 2024 by Jacob Buchalter: There are plenty of weapons to choose from in Lies of P, and your choice of weapon often has a big impact on how you approach combat overall. Additionally, you have the option to change the blade and hilt at any time, creating an absurd number of different weapon combinations. However, you'll find that many people end up relying on either the blade or the hilt of the Booster Glaive as their primary weapon, and there's a reason for that. The Booster Glaive is just an incredibly solid option in Lies of P, so let's take a look at where exactly you can find it, the best way to get it, and what its overall stats are.
Both methods of obtaining the booster glaive
Both the faster and safer method, explained
Before we get into exactly where the Booster Glaive is located, it's worth mentioning this There are two ways to obtain it:
Method # |
Proceedings |
Explanation |
---|---|---|
1 |
Tunnel vision |
Essentially, this method is just a “death run” where you run straight to the chest containing the booster glaive, trying not to get killed by the multitude of enemies that attack you as you run. |
2 |
exploration |
This is intended for the slower and more methodical players and involves thoroughly exploring Venigni's workshop until you find the level that drains the corruption fluid from the area containing both the Doll of the Future and the chest with the Booster Glaive inside condition. |
The Booster Glaive can be found in a chest at the end of a long drainage ditch-like area near the Workshop Union Culvert Stargazer. This canal is guarded by a giant “puppet of the future” and is filled everywhere with ankle-high, corruption-causing liquid.
The intended route you are supposed to take to get the Booster Glaive is to explore the workshop until you find the method to drain this corruption fluid, then return to the chest with the Booster Glaive inside. After defeating the Doll of the Future, you then need to actually open the chest and get the Glaive.
However, it is much quicker (and easier) to simply eat/deal with the Corruption DoT, walk past the Doll of the Future without fighting it, and open the booster glaive chest before the Doll catches up with you. This will likely result in you dying either from the Doll of the Future or from the constant bursts of damage due to the corruption, but at this point you already have the booster glaive, so what does it matter?
How to drain the corruption fluid
In a huge pipe, guarded by a shovel-wielding automaton
The intended method of obtaining the booster glaive is to proceed naturally through the workshop until you come across the step which, when pulled, will empty the channel of all corruption.
However, this switch is located slightly off the path to the boss itself, meaning many of us don't naturally stumble upon it. So let's go step by step through exactly where you can find it:
Step |
Description |
---|---|
1 |
From the Union Culvert Stargazer workshop, walk through the factory as usual until you reach a long hallway with constantly burning balls of defunct dolls rolling down it. |
2 |
Walk down this hallway and avoid the flaming orbs by hugging the open areas to the left or right every now and then. Keep going until you reach a point where a doll on the right breaks through a nearby wall. |
3 |
Continue along this newly opened path until you come back to an outdoor area with stairs on the right. Ignore these stairs (which lead to this area's boss and a stargazer) and go left instead. |
4 |
Follow the hallway that leads back to the workshop area and go through this new area where there are some big red pipes, some broken dolls, and one of those scary robot guards with the shovels (let's call them “shovel guards”). |
5 |
Go into the big red pipe area and keep going. As soon as you encounter the shovel guard, you know the lever is within reach. |
6 |
Fight or run past the shovel guard, open the shortcut door on the left, and pull the lever on the console that should be directly in front of you |
After all of this is done, your screen should shake for a moment before stopping. This indicates that the corruption liquid has now been drained. Now you can go back up the stairs from before and follow this forward path to find a lever that will drop a pipe down, creating a shortcut to the Union Culvert Stargazer Workshop.

The fact that this weapon has a D in Motivation and a B in Technique is quite unique, as it is a greatsword that seems to favor dexterity over strength.
However, this scaling is based on the handle. So if you want a strength-building version of this weapon, simply slap the blade on a Motivation Scaling handle or use a Motivation Crank on the Glaive Handle.
Verdict on Booster Glaive
Is it really that good?
As for a final verdict on the Booster Glaive: All around, this thing is an absolutely fantastic weapon. And to avoid confusion, here's why:
- Despite its greatsword-type blade, this thing is heavily tech-focused due to the hilt, which is great for “skill” builds.
- By quickly changing the handle or extending the crank, the handle can be adapted to your needs.
- The attack pattern of the handle is also quite nice as it is simple and repetitive.
- The Charged Heavy Attack is by far the most interesting feature, as it features a booster-fueled forward momentum attack that can help you close the distance incredibly quickly.
- The blade itself is also great, as it is better than the standard greatsword blade and also looks a bit more “natural” when combined with most other hilts.
All in all, the Booster Glaive is one of the best weapons you should pick up as soon as possible, and in the right hands it can trivialize many of the game's early difficult moments.
