How to get an S rank in Kingdom Valley
Kingdom Valley is all about in the heights and pay attention to your footing. There are many places where you can easily fall to your death, and just as many dangerous jumps reward you with a higher route to get to your destination faster.
Kingdom Valley Act 1 S Rank
There are plenty of tightrope walks in Kingdom Valley, which Shadow can reach even higher with a well-timed jump. However, When performing a slam, Shadow is immediately shot up to maximum height. Use this tactic on every tightrope walk you come across.
Turning while surfing can be quite difficult, so use the left and right evasive maneuvers instead. You'll lose momentum, but it's a much easier method than turning manually. While in the first section with Doom Surf, strive to the right. This will take you to a higher route, which is much faster than surfing.
In certain surfing sections, a monster will come after you, firing projectiles. Destroy these projectiles with Doom Spearand use Chaos Control when prompted so you can use Doom Blast against them. Move to the blocking point to skip a significant amount.
Make sure you do this if you end up on the rope after a grind rail late in the mission Hit the bottom to reach an even higher route. On this route you will end up on another grind rail. But you can also jump off this to activate another grind rail on the way and get to your destination even faster.
In the final section of the bridge surrounded by water, go straight to the right to activate a grind rail and Jump away through the dash ring to skip the enemies below and save a few seconds. Use the same tightrope walking tactics as before to reach another set of dash rings that will bring you closer to the end.
Complete the mission under 4:30 seconds with a score of at least 40,000 to get the beautiful A rank, and a Perfect Clear to turn it into the wonderful S rank.
Kingdom Valley Act 2 S Rank
Boosting is your best friend in Act 2. There are numerous quarter pipes that give you good height when you hit them while boosting, allowing you to quickly get to higher routes.
Like the slam attacks on ropes in the first act, Make frequent use of slams here to break through boxes quickly and help you deal with the constant falls more easily.
Certain sections contain enemies that you can use Doom Blast on. While some have lock points, this is better Aim at the statues that activate the grind rails. This will activate them immediately, allowing Shadow to begin grinding as soon as he catches up with the enemy.
As soon as you enter the interior, many pillars begin to move to fix you in place. This can cost you valuable time and even your life if you are not careful Use Chaos Control liberally to fix them in place so you have time to get past them. There are many enemies to find here, allowing you to quickly replenish your supply.
Towards the end there is a loop that you go through and shoot into a dash ring. With some good timing, You can skip this loop entirely and jump straight into the Dash Ring instead.
Completion of this law in under 3 minutes will easily earn you an A rank, although you can still achieve it if you have enough rings to increase your score to over 40,000. Achieve a Perfect Clear and the A rank becomes an S rank.
