Of course, that doesn't mean you should avoid the best gear if it's just a solid upgrade, and the Auroral armor is one you won't want to miss. Not only does it have one of the highest defense stats in the game, but it is also equipped with numerous other special effects. Let's find it.
What is Auroral Armor?
First things first, They must have defeated Baramos before you can get that, and have entered the world of darkness, Alefgard. Once you've checked off all of these items, you can find them.
The Auroral Armor is said to be kept in the Tantegel Castle along with the Hero's Shield and the Sword of Kings, although they are all scattered throughout the empire. Considering the Auroral armor is packed with one massive defense ratingprotects against fire and ice attacks and even heals you while walkingit's not one you want to miss.
Where can you find the Auroral armor?
To actually find it, you have to sail to the northern tip of the map until you reach it the tower of Rubiss. Rubiss is also being held here. So be sure to get the Fairy Flute in Kol before coming here. With all that going on, get going.
While reaching Rubiss requires some tactical movement through the tower, the Auroral Armor is a much easier treasure to find. Follow the stairs around the tower up to the fourth floorand enter the large gray building in the center of the map.
This will put you in a room with rather unsafe flooring One wrong step will send you plummeting. While walking here, use the D-pad to make sure you don't slip.
The hardest part of getting to the treasure chest with the Auroral armor is the various tiles that get in your way. These twist your motion controls, Rotate them 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwisedepending on which direction the colored arrows point. As an added precaution, you can use the up and down arrows on the d-pad to navigate so you don't accidentally walk right over the edge.
Once you carefully reach the chest, loot it to get the Auroral Armor all for yourself. You should probably save Rubiss now if you haven't already. The armor will be of great help in this regard.
There is also a Chimaera monster hiding in this room, so catch it before you leave
