What to expect from Pokemon Legends ZA in 2025

Almost a year has passed since the first and last official exhibition Pokemon Legends: ZAand the only confirmed details about it are that it will be released sometime this year and that it will contain Mega Evolutions. The original trailer for Pokemon Legends: ZA has arguably given fans more information about what the gameplay loop might look like, what the setting might entail, and what creatures are likely to appear in the game. One could argue that Pokémon Day 2025, which takes place on February 27th, would be the perfect time for a new trailer, although some sources claimed it could be released before then, between January and early February. The trailer will likely feature gameplay elements such as battles, traversal abilities, how evolution works, starters, Pokeballs, and possibly new Megas.

Pokemon Legends: ZA brings back Mega Evolutions

Mega Evolutions return Pokemon Legends: ZA means that most, if not all, of the previous ones are likely to come back. Additionally, new Mega Evolutions are all but confirmed if Game Freak wants to keep things fresh. Other leaks mention that the game will be set in present-day Kalos. However, it remains to be seen whether it will be a prequel or sequel to Gen 6 games – which implies that it isn't set in the distant past like Pokémon Legends: Arceuswhich is probably based on the first trailer.

Pokemon Legends: ZA Starter Leaks and Predictions Explained

It's worth mentioning that no starters for the upcoming title have been shown yet. However, leaks say this is the case Pokemon Legends: ZA will contain the 6th generation starters as their own versions, but with some differences from the original versions.
