Warzone is making big changes to Smoke, but fans aren't happy

While the update added some new weapons and limited-time game modes, the community expected more from last season. They add that the DTIR's muzzle smoke was secretly reduced in the update, but that's not exactly what you'd expect. While the smoke is significantly less intrusive and visibility is significantly better when the target is up close, as the player gets further away the smoke will again take up a significant portion of the field of view.

While the smoke itself is pretty annoying, fans have also expressed their frustration with the Blackcell skin. If players use the Blackcell blueprint along with the DTIR, the smoke will be significantly reduced. There is still some smoke when using the Blackcell skin, but most of it is directed to the side, making it less intrusive to players. This isn't the first time a weapon has been called pay-to-win.
