The Omen of destruction The expansion includes three new ones Total War: Warhammer 3 Legendary Lords, namely the Greenskins warboss Gorbad Ironclaw, Golgfag Maneater of the Ogre Kingdoms and Khorne champion U'Zhul the Skulltaker. The DLC also includes four legendary heroes, nine regiments of glory and 15 regular units. Each new Legendary Lord features a unique campaign mechanic, such as Gorbad Ironclaw's Da' Plan, which encourages players to combine units in their armies to unlock special bonuses and benefits.

Creative Assembly has also released update 6.0 for Total War: Warhammer 3 coinciding with the start of Omen of destruction. Thanks to this patch, which implements numerous campaign optimizations for the Greenskins, the Faithful of Khorne, and the Ogre Kingdoms, all players will have access to the new legendary Lord Arbaal the Undefeated. Update 6.0 also fixes many bugs, including one related to Kislev's ice rink mechanic, which is widely believed to be part of this Total War: Warhammer 3is the hardest faction that led to crashes. Other changes brought by the latest patch include the addition of a province called Cathayan Hinterlands and the introduction of the Demonic Reforging mechanic to maintain aggressive Chaos factions.
