Anton blasting delayed due to hurricanes Helene and Milton
According to the developer Antonblast “It’s all about destruction,” and almost everything in the game environment is destructible. Players have the choice to take on the role of either Dynamite Anton or his colleague Annie. Anton uses his giant hammer to slash his way through twelve different worlds and take on “screen-filling” bosses, all with the end goal of recovering the protagonist's spirit collection, stolen by Satan himself.
With 2.5D graphics and hand-drawn animations, Antonblast allows players to move between the foreground and background as they make their way through the game. Players can zoom through levels causing mayhem, or slow down to take in the views while listening to the retro soundtrack. Antonblast also offers multiple game modes including Hard and Boss Rush. Despite the unexpected delay, many players are already looking forward to the release of Summitsphere's crazy platformer, with several people noting its similarities to the popular Nintendo game Wario Land Series.
While I'm waiting for it Antonblast Making your way to PC and Nintendo Switch, there are plenty of great indie platformers to check out.
