Is Undead Unluck canceled?
Undead misfortune Fans have already realized that the series is nearing its end, but it might end sooner than expected! The anime adaptation, available on Disney+ and Hulu, was well received, although that may well be the case for somet Shonen Jump I would try to expand the manga serialization, but it doesn't seem to work that way.
In December, it was reported that the series was reaching a “super climax.” “Climax” is a term usually used in the manga industry for the final moments of a story, so it was a good sign that the story was actually coming to an end.

Conflicting information about the next chapter
The latest chapter (#238) was officially released this Sunday (January 19th) and In the French version, a key feature of the series was given: it says that the next chapter is the last.
The text means something like this:
Let's enjoy life together! The final chapter in the next edition will be longer and have a central position with a colored page!
However, The Japanese magazine does not confirm that the next chapter is the lastand simply informs readers that the manga will reach its climax. Although these two pieces of information do not necessarily contradict each other, it could be that the French edition mistranslated the original text.
The Spanish version of the chapters states that the next edition will contain the “super climax”, and the English version doesn't even mention the climax, only containing text at the end of the chapter saying “To be continued”. .
Is Undead Unluck canceled?
Although it is not yet clear whether the next chapter will be the last, it seems undeniable that the series will soon end. This has led some people to argue that the manga is being canceled.
Well, some might argue that the series isn't selling as well as it could, although the anime adaptation has helped it recover somewhat. For example, Boruto, serialized in V-Jump, more than sells Undead misfortune. However, this manga has already been compiled into 24 volumes, so it should end up with 25-26 volumes, a number close to Jujutsu Kaisen (completed with 30 volumes).
Could it be that even though it has been serialized for over 5 years, Shonen Jump decided to cancel it? Yes, but it also seems Jump no longer actually assumes that new titles will last longer than four to six years and is entering a new era in which we will have a difficult time understanding the magazine if we look at hits from the “Big Three” perspective.
Chapter 239 is scheduled to release on January 26, 2025 (or January 27, 2025, depending on your time zone) and will officially be available for free on the Manga Plus and Shonen Jump services.
