UK must drop legal challenge against ICC arrest warrant for Netanyahu: HRW

LONDON: The new British government must withdraw its challenge to the International Criminal Court's request for arrest warrants against Israeli politicians, Human Rights Watch has demanded. Rishi Sunak, the former British prime minister, challenged the court's arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant earlier this year. Karim Khan, the ICC's chief prosecutor, said there were credible arguments that the two politicians were responsible for crimes against humanity, The Guardian reported on Friday.
