Top Australian holiday houses: Stayz reveals top 10 holiday rentals for 2024

The hottest Australian Holiday Homes of the Year have been revealed and includes waterfront homes, wine region stays, ski and countryside escapes.

The top ten list includes accommodation at the Hamilton Island, Mount Buller, Margaret River and Kangaroo Valley.

Three of the ten homes are located in NSW.

In total they boast six pools, five firepits, three spas, one tennis court, as well as luxe amenities like a wine cellar, video arcade, sauna and an outdoor bath.

The homes are selected from over 50,000 properties on Stayz, and must have a 4.5 or higher star rating, positive guest reviews and standout amenities.

1. Robinsons Run, Kangaroo Valley, NSW

Neighbouring the picturesque Morton National Park is a 70-acre property featuring a luxury country home.

With enough rooms for a party of twelve, the home boasts a swimming pool, spa, fire put and outdoor bathtub.

The three-storeys also give guests breathtaking views of the sprawling natural landscapes on your doorstep.

2. Luxury Waterside Home, Kyle Bay, NSW

This waterfront property just a 20-minute drive from the CBD showcases 360-degree views of the glistening bay.

Alfresco dining and a designer kitchen are major drawcards for staying in, but there is plenty of adventure to be had on its doorstep with beaches, wineries, and galleries just a moment away.

9. Mount Edgcumbe House, Rowella, TAS

This three-bedroom home on Points Rapide Estate looks out onto incredible views of the River Tamar and Tamar Valley.

The 37-acre property includes botanical gardens, a vineyard and a restored heritage home, built in 1835 and considered one of the first homesteads established in Tasmania.

The home also boasts a ski storage room for those heading to the slopes.
