Key insights
- Najahkoop was one of the few Sternritter who survived Yhwach's power drain and was determined to stop Shinigami.
- Font U enables The Underbelly ability to immobilize and render enemies unconscious.
- Despite powerful abilities, Najahkoop was underutilized in war and wasted his potential against enemies.
Although NaNaNa Najahkoop had the least influence on the outcome of the so-called “Great War to Protect the Soul King”, he was among the few Sternritter to survive Yhwach's violent stripping of power by the Select, which usually leaves their targets dead. Furthermore, the fact that the Quincy King had abandoned him and the other survivors did not stop him from stopping the local Shinigami from finding a way to get to the Soul King's palace.
His death at the hands of another Quincy was one of the most unremarkable endings to a Quincy life we've ever seen BLEACH: Thousand Year Blood Warbut we were able to get a glimpse of his skills before he left. What abilities did NaNaNa Najahkoop have access to via the U – The Underbelly font?

Here's a closer look at the font and complete from Sternritter Äs Nödt.
Font U – The Underbelly
A powerful ability
Najahkoop's appearance is reminiscent of an early version of former 9th Squad captain Kaname Tōsen, with spiky hair and a mask covering his eyes. Najahkoop's mask is a smooth, orange surface shaped like an upside-down heart, and it is most likely the medium through which he performs his signature ability, the Underbelly. He marks the target with his epithet letter, which forms a grid over his silhouette, allowing him to analyze the structure of an enemy's reiatsu and locate and exploit their weaknesses using the technique he calls the “morphine pattern”. It also allows him to increase the size of localized weak points until the enemy's reiatsu is completely depleted, rendering him immobile and eventually unconscious. It's so effective that in the fifth episode of BLEACH: Thousand Year Blood War Part 3Najahkoop used the ability on Sōsuke Aizen and managed to immobilize him for five minutes and even render him unconscious.
“What an idiot. He was really sound asleep… I came here to see what kind of guy took out Mask De Masculine and I found this guy snoring away without a care in the world. I thought it must be some guy But who would have thought that a man would actually fall asleep in the middle of enemy territory? The first time I ever “watched” an enemy for so long. You’re done, Red Monkey.”
U for “The Underutilized”
Najahkoop's ability could have devastatingly destroyed Soul Society
At this point, Aizen's immense reiatsu is kept close to his body by technology developed by 12th Squad captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi, but he is actually stronger than when he was arrested, so Najahkoop's ability continues to have a major effect on someone even afterward, who is so dangerous It's crazy to think about his powers being taken away after the selections. While Najahkoop is very arrogant and very confident in his ability to recognize Reishi patterns, he is also so wary of being ruined, even going so far as to watch a sleeping Renji Abarai for an entire night because he was sure that the 6th Squad lieutenant was vulnerable as part of a trap.
The Underbelly's greatest weakness is that the effectiveness of his observation ability depends on how much time Najahkoop had to observe his enemy. Najahkoop's potential is being wasted Thousand Year Blood War arc, because such an ability could be the kryptonite of virtually any enemy he's had enough time to observe; However, despite his full power, he was defeated by Byakuya Kuchiki, who had previously been beaten by Sternritter F – The Fear, Äs Nödt by a whisker.
Even with strength comparable to that of a Captain-level Shinigami and the kind of ability that can immobilize a person as powerful as Sōsuke Aizen (granted, Aizen has multiple handicaps), Najahkoop had the least overall script impact to the events of the Great War to Protect the Soul King. Even a sacrificial pawn like Sternritter Y – The Yourself, Royd Lloyd, whose sole job was to impersonate Yhwach and temporarily distract the now-deceased former captain-commander Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, ended up playing a more significant role in the invasion of the Wandenreich. What Najahkoop lacks in clout, he definitely makes up for in tenacity, as he survived the fight against an angry Yamamoto, a revived Byakuya, the picks, and, yes, even the beam through the chest of his colleague Quincy Bazz-B. In the BLEACH: I can't fear your own world Novels by Ryohgo Narita, NaNaNa Najahkoop, Candice Catnipp and Meninas McAllon are test subjects by Mayuri Kurotsuchi at the Shinigami Research and Development Institute.
