The Pokemon Company has thanked fans for their patience regarding the Scarlet and Violet – Prismatic Evolutions shortages and outlined some of the steps being taken to address them. This step is the first time the group acknowledges the problems with the next one Pokémon trading card game Expansion in any capacity.
Prismatic Evolutions is an upcoming card set originally announced in early November 2024, with pre-orders beginning a few days later. The international release is scheduled for January 17th and should therefore help Pokémon trading card game Enter 2025 stronger than ever. The Pokemon Company also said that fans will soon have the opportunity to purchase new Prismatic Evolutions products, which are scheduled to launch in the coming months. This was already mentioned as part of the expansion's original announcement in November 2024.
The Pokémon trading card game Products from the Prismatic Evolutions set that have already been revealed but will not be released in January 2025 include a new mini tin and a surprise box, both scheduled for release on February 7th. There will also be a Prismatic Evolution Booster Bundle Special Collection Accessory Bags, scheduled for March 7th and April 25th respectively. The Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection is then scheduled to release on May 16th, followed by a Premium Figure Collection on September 26th. Fans who want to test out the new maps can do so by purchasing the Battle Pass Pokemon TCG Live Mobile game that will award Prismatic Evolutions cards starting January 16th.
