These Bleach characters have experienced tremendous growth and development since their introduction.
For example, in his shop, his loyal assistants Ururu, Jinta, and Tessai are always there to keep him company, but once he joins Soul Society, he welcomes all other Soul Reapers with open arms, including his protégé Mayuri. 6 Pepe Waccabrada
The Love Guru is the very definition of a “People Person”
- First appearance: TYBW episode 23
Pepe may only make a brief appearance during his time in the Thousand Year Blood War storyline, but he still knows how to make himself known in the limited screen time he has. Pepe is a Sternritter who is obsessed with the idea of love and believes that it is the only central component that makes the world go round and that is why he can be seen preaching his ideology at the top of his lungs whenever whenever he shows up.
Additionally, as a love guru, Pepe is also one of the most approachable Sternritter in the series, always ready to embrace those who fall in love with his powers. Admittedly, Pepe's over-the-top personality is the reason many fans find him a little irritating, but he's still undoubtedly one of the most extroverted Quincy's out there.
5 Rangiku Matsumoto
Rangiku is always ready to have a drink and meet new people
- First appearance: Episode 24
Tite Kubo, the author of Bleach, knew exactly what he was doing when he brought Hitsugaya and Rangiku together as captain and lieutenant, respectively. While the former is a calm and stoic captain who takes his role very seriously, Rangiku is a fun-loving and largely carefree companion who often tries to lure Hitsugaya out of his shell with pranks and blunders.
Although she can face a worthy opponent in the Soil Society, Rangiku loves nothing more than seeing which fellow Soul Reapers she can meet for a drink at the local bar. Because she is so outgoing, she has tons of friends within Soul Society, unlike many of her comrades who have at least a few people they would rather not get along with.

As soon as Ichigo landed in Soul Society to rescue Rukia, Kenpachi sprinted towards him, eager to take on someone who could surpass his own strength and abilities. Kenpachi is also a man who enjoys shouting out whatever is on his mind. A prime example of this is his joyful reaction to Gremmy's call for a meteor in the “Thousand Year Blood War” story arc.
3 Riruka Dokugamine
The only time Riruka lowers her energy is when she's trying to impress Ichigo
- First appearance: Episode 343
Much like Grimmjow, Riruka feels like an anomaly in her respective group. Instead of using a mysterious personality to avoid drawing attention like the other Fullbringers, Riruka has no problem being as loud and energetic as possible, especially when she has Ichigo in her sights.
Riruka's more positive and bubbly personality gives the Fullbringers a lot more vibrancy as a unit and is one of the reasons why she has become such a fan favorite. Although one may catch glimpses of an even more troubled young girl beneath her, Riruka can still often be seen as a fun, outgoing, and extremely extroverted enemy and ally of Ichigo.
2 Nel
Even as an adult, Nel is just as lively and eccentric as ever
- First appearance: Episode 146
When Nel takes on the form of a child, it's somewhat understandable why she seems so outgoing and carefree given her young age. When she's not yelling at Ichigo's opponents or covering him in slime, Nel enjoys dancing around with her loyal companions Dondachaka and Pesche or playing tag with all the Hollows she encounters in Hueco Mundo.
While it would be easy to assume that Nel would become a little more gentle and introverted as she developed into her adult form, that is actually not the case. Instead, she retains her childlike optimism and personality, which is why she's a lot of fun to watch on screen, even if it's perhaps not quite as fun for Ichigo, who she often tries to hug to death.
1 Bazz B
Bazz-B is a loud, bombastic, but also incredibly powerful member of the Sternritter
- First appearance: TYBW episode 3
Bazz-B may be a hothead who always describes himself as one of the strongest Sternritter, but he has a point, as he has incredibly destructive abilities that make him a deadly force to deal with. However, Bazz always tries to be the center of attention when he appears and is never afraid to let his emotions out when he's upset about something.
This can be seen when Uryu is introduced into the ranks of the Sternritter. While many of the other soldiers reluctantly accepted their new comrade, Bazz-B threw a tantrum and did the same when Renji insulted his stylish mohawk. He may be an outgoing bundle of energy, but it's also easy to get under Bazz-B's skin, which is by far his greatest vulnerability.
