Hunter x Hunter has had incredible success in recent months since returning from a long break. Every single chapter Togashi dropped was incredible and the story got better with each new release. Hunter x Hunter 410 is the last chapter Togashi will release in this series before taking a break. This means that Chapter 410 will hopefully be very memorable and amazing, if not the best in the series.

Fans can look forward to an amazing chapter this weekend, with the focus perhaps on the cause of martial law and perhaps more on what happens to Morena and Borksen.

Borksen gains her Nen ability

She has to witness a murder by one of the Heil-Ly

In the last three HxH For the most part, chapters 407, 408, and 409 focused solely on two characters: Morena Prudo, the leader of the Heil-Ly, and Borksen, one of Tserriednich's personal army members. Borksen was kidnapped by Morena and forced to play a game of cards to decide her fate. Whether she could join her, die or leave had to be decided. At the end of the game in HxH 409, Borksen ended up with the card that could allow her to escape unscathed. However, she decided to join Morena and pulled the yes card from the cemetery.

This means that Borksen is now a member of the Heil-Ly. Borksen will also soon receive a Nen ability, as she has already met two of Morena's three criteria for the contagion to take effect. She kissed Morena and ended the card game with a yes. The only thing left to do is witness a murder committed by Morena herself or a Heil-Ly member. Fans could definitely imagine this in the next chapter when Heil-Ly murders someone, probably a random character or maybe even an important one, like one of Borksen's comrades from Tserriednich's personal army who is looking for her everywhere.

In any case, once this is done, Borksen will be affected by the contagion and will be able to gain a Nen ability without having to go through all the rigorous training required to gain one. Borksen is a specialist, so whatever skills she has will likely be impressive, especially since Morena most likely has a special plan for her. Borksen also has to start killing people, which she may find difficult. Overall, though, Borksen has the potential to be one of Morena's best guys.

However, Borksen may have ulterior motives for joining Morena and may not be loyal to her. Borksen could simply want Morena to be prevented from recruiting others, because with Borksen, Morena has reached her limits with the infection so that she can no longer influence anyone. Borksen will be very relevant in the next chapter and later as well.

Why was martial law declared?

The reason is revealed in HxH 410

An important event that recently took place in HxH was the declaration of martial law. Martial law gives all power to the Kakin military and gives Benjamin control. It is currently unknown why martial law was imposed, but there are a few possible options here. It is important to note that it was confirmed in the last chapter that martial law does not affect lower levels 4 and 5, only levels 3, 2 and 1.

The first explanation that may be revealed in the next chapter as to what led to Benjamin imposing martial law has to do with none other than the ninth Prince of Halkenburg. Halkenburg plays a big role and he hasn't focused much on it in the last few chapters. However, fans know that he took over the body of Might, one of Benjamin's men. In Might's body, Halkenburg wants to go ahead and try to eliminate Benjamin. Something may have gone wrong with this plan, causing Benjamin to declare martial law.

Halkenburg could have reached Benjamin and attempted to eliminate him but failed, or he may have been too slow and Might could have regained control of his own body.

Another possibility is that Luzurus, the 7th prince, was murdered. As fans saw from previous chapters, Kaiser, Melody, and Beast Kocho wanted to eliminate Luzurus. They suspect he is involved in Fugetsu's terrible condition. They believe that they are running out of time and need to act quickly, and if this continues, Fugetsu will die soon. This rashness may have led them to put their plan into action and kill Luzurus, a mafia patron. While they will try to attribute his death to a drug overdose, Benjamin could blame the mafia and then declare martial law.

Chrollo may have already stolen one of these treasures, if not all of them if they are hidden together. A robbery of this magnitude would definitely warrant the declaration of martial law. If these artifacts are stolen, it is even possible that the Succession War itself will be jeopardized.

When will Hunter x Hunter Chapter 410 release?

Chapter 410 of HxH will be the last of the batch. After this chapter the Hunter x Hunter The manga will be on hiatus and fans will have to wait for 411 to release at some point. This is unfortunate, but Togashi is still working on HxH and hopefully this break won't last too long.
