The rewards and theme of Star Paths also change from season to season, with the previous Star Path modeled after the game's Dapper Delights update. Therefore, fans expected that this next Star Path would at least be thematically aligned with the game's latest update if it wasn't festive. Instead of presenting The Lion King topic related to Dreamlight ValleyIn the new Jungle Getaway update, players received a star trail titled “The Night Show.”
A rock 'n' roll star trail with skulls and fire could be considered spooky for a smaller subset Disney Dreamlight Valley's players, but it completely subverts the expectations fans had based on previous Star Paths and game updates. A rock and roll-themed Star Path isn't an inherently bad concept, especially since it's rumored to be a collaboration with pop culture clothing brand Loungefly, but the response this Star Path has received from fans is worth considering the timing is understandable.
Disney Dreamlight Valley has already taken the spooky route around Halloween for Star Paths. In 2022 the Dreamlight Valley's Villains' Starpath acted as the second starpath ever introduced in the game, with items such as Black Cat Ears and the Well of Souls available as rewards. Gameloft and Disney Dreamlight Valley For Halloween 2023, we've gone the spooky route again: The Haunted Holiday Star Path offers rewards like a Halloween Town Archway and a Pumpkin King Costume.
Disney Dreamlight Valley still has plans for Halloween 2024
The lack of a Halloween-themed star path could have been less of a blow to fans if Gameloft and Disney Dreamlight Valley had announced further Halloween events. Only trick-or-treating is confirmed at this time Dreamlight Valley as one of the Halloween themed events happening soon. Fans are still in the dark as to whether there will be more events this season or whether it will just be trick-or-treating Disney Dreamlight Valley will offer.
In addition to trick-or-treating, Disney Dreamlight Valley Past Halloween activities have included a limited-time rendition of the signature three-course Dreamlight Duty menu. Even though the star path itself may not be scary, Disney Dreamlight Valley has time to serve up some scares for players to enjoy. Until October 23rd, when Trick-or-Treating returns, fans will just have to enjoy the new Jungle Getaway update, releasing on October 9th.
