Genshin Influence is known for its unique and appealing weekly boss battles that are directly linked to the story. While these enemies have an important significance in the game's story, they have also become household names when it comes to the climax of Genshin Impact Battle system. These weekly boss battles are released sporadically, making their appearance an important feature in each update.
These unusually powerful enemies have unique and captivating abilities, majestic arenas, and beautiful soundtracks that reinforce their status as enemies not to be messed with. Starting today, players will have ten weekly boss battles to choose from, each offering a thrilling experience.
10 Stormterror Dvalin
Former king of the skies
Stormterror Dvalin has the unfortunate honor of coming last on this list. The Dvalin boss fight was the very first weekly boss introduced in the game alongside Andrius, and hasn't aged well over the years. It's just too easy a fight these days, as there are a variety of available characters that can take down Dvalin with ease.
Even casual players with a relatively good team should have no trouble defeating Dvalin. While it's a cool boss fight visually, its ridiculous difficulty and lack of skill make it the least interesting weekly boss in the game.
9 Andrius
Ruler of the wolves
As already mentioned in the list, Andrius is the oldest weekly boss in the game, alongside Dvalin, and was released in version 1.0. Similar to Dvalin, Andrius' difficulty has dropped significantly over the years. The Dominator of Wolves is nothing more than a DPS check these days, easily defeated by a halfway decent team.
The arena, soundtrack, and Andrius' stature make it a cool standoff. However, he is very easy to defeat and the boss fight should take little more than two minutes for most players.
8 child
Eleventh of the Fatui Harbingers
child was by far the hardest boss fight when his Trounce Domain was released in version 1.1. It was so difficult for players at the time that HoYoverse adjusted the difficulty of the boss fight. Since then, the Childe boss fight has been one of the easiest fights in the entire game. Almost any team can defeat the Eleventh Fatui Harbinger without much trouble.
One of the advantages of this fight is that it is a traditional 1v1 and Childe is invulnerable for very few moments. It is a classic and simple duel between frenemies, but that is about all it has to offer, as it pales in comparison to other weekly bosses of a similar nature.
7 Guardian of Apep's Oasis
The Wrath of the Dendro Sovereign
Guardian of Apep's Oasis is one of the newer weekly bosses in the game and was released in version 3.6 as part of the second chapter of Nahida's story quest. The arena this fight takes place in is beautiful, but the fight itself is more boring than entertaining.
A good half of the fight is spent dealing with mobs that threaten the revival of the Heart of the Oasis. Once that's done, the second phase of the boss fight begins, which is also nothing special. It's one of the weaker designs in terms of boss fights and doesn't bring anything new to the table.
6 Azdaha
Sealed Lord of Vishaps
Azdaha is one of the most majestic boss fights in Genshin influence. The great soundtrack and the intimidating presence of Zhongli's former friend make the fight a very entertaining experience. However, a major problem with this boss fight is that Azhdaha often becomes invulnerable, forcing players to wait.
Furthermore, despite the ability to utilize various elements, Azhdaha has a very limited moveset. All of these factors make Azhdaha the only sixth best weekly boss in the game, despite being one of the better bosses from a visual perspective.
5 Eternal Lord of Mysterious Wisdom
Shouki No Kami, The Spendthrift
The Eternal Lord of Mysterious Wisdombetter known as Scaramoucheis undoubtedly one of the biggest weekly bosses in the game. While the first phase of this boss fight is nothing special, the second phase is where things really get going.
Scaramouche can perform powerful attacks, including a one-shot ability that players must be wary of. However, this boss fight has a unique feature: the Neo-Akasha Terminal constantly deals damage to Scaramouche.
Additionally, this boss fight involves spending a lot of time dodging attacks, with the Neo-Akasha Terminal doing most of the damage work. The Scaramouche boss fight is a great spectacle that is marred by its largely non-interactive nature.
4 The Signora
Rostam's lover
The Signora is a very well-designed boss fight with two distinct phases. The first phase features the Sheer Cold mechanic, while the second phase sees La Signora become the Crimson Witch of Embers, complete with a fiery new moveset.
Both stages feature excellent music and movesets that feel rewarding when dueling. Signora also has minimal invulnerability in both stages. This boss fight is one of the best designed fights in the game; a perfect example of simplicity yet effectiveness.
3 All-devouring narwhal
Surtalogis Pet
While the boss fight against La Signora was easy, the showdown with the All-devouring narwhal is anything but that. Fighting this monster that is constantly flying around is a bit annoying, but the beauty of the beast and the arena makes up for it. While it doesn't have the best moves by far, fighting the Narhwhal gives a feeling of grandeur.
The second phase is the main reason this boss fight is so high on the list. The otherworldly dubstep music and the extremely captivating design of the Narwhal's Shadow Warrior make it an intense 1v1. Combining these two phases, third place on this list seems like a fair placement for the all-devouring Narwhal.
2 The Villain
Father of the House of the Hearth
The Villain takes second place on this list because it's an extremely simple but effective duel. There are no complicated mechanics to worry about; it's just a showdown dictated by the fourth Fatui Harbinger, Arlecchino.
The first phase doesn't have any standout features, but Arlecchino still shows off some spectacular moves. The second phase, where Arlecchino becomes the Cinder of Two Worlds' Flames, really ramps up the intensity of the boss fight. Arlecchino can deal incredible damage and wipe out characters in an instant if players aren't careful.
However, it is still a fair fight, as proper dodging and finding windows of opportunity to deal damage can ultimately defeat them. For these reasons, the newest weekly boss in Genshin Influence is also one of the best.
1 Magatsu Mitake Narukami No Mikoto
Raiden No Inazuma Tono
Magatsu Mitake Narukami No Mikoto, or the Raiden Shogun boss fight, is still the best weekly boss in Genshin Impact, and has been since its release in version 2.5. The unique setting of the fight, the two phases and a wealth of moves make it a very exciting and entertaining fight. The rocking soundtrack with Inazuma's leitmotif also adds to the overall atmosphere of the fight.
Both phases of this boss fight offer a wide variety of moves that make them stand out from the crowd. This was the first weekly boss to introduce a one-shot mechanic, and it features one of the most stunning visual effects in the game.
Almost everything about the Raiden Shogun boss fight is perfectly executed. The difficulty level is also perfectly balanced, making him a very accessible weekly boss for all players.
