Best drive disks for Miyabi
Hoshimi Miyabi, the youngest Void Hunter in Zenless Zone Zero's New Eridu is easily one of the best DPS characters in the entire game, putting all who came before her to shame. Building Miyabi properly and integrating her into the right teams takes her already absurd potential into the stratosphere. Whether you are a new or old player, Miyabi will instantly improve any account.

How to build Tsukishiro Yanagi in Zenless Zone Zero!
Miyabi's best teams don't all have to be premium S ranks, nor do their builds have to be perfect, but here's how to get the most out of Miyabi.
Best W Motors for Miyabi
Building Miyabi is much easier than her ability descriptions suggest. She is an anomaly unit that behaves more like a traditional DPS Your priority on disk drives, W motors and skills will follow this mindset more closely via an anomaly build.
The most important stat you can give Miyabi when building is Crit. Guess because her core ability depends on this stat, especially in conjunction with the additional Frost Anomaly buildup bonus she gets against opponents affected by her Ice Fire.
First, here are Miyabi's best W engines in order of effectiveness:
W engine |
rank |
Description |
---|---|---|
Hailstorm Shrine |
S rank |
Miyabi's signature W engine is by far their bestwith a huge damage gap between it and the next best option. It also has the rare crit. The rate main value contributes significantly to meeting the requirements of their core competence. |
Fusion compiler |
S rank |
Grace's Signature is a good choice for Miyabi if you don't have Hailstorm Shrine, thanks to its flat ATK% bonus and anomaly synergy. Neither it nor any of the other W engines offer critical hits. Evaluate so your drive disks need to be put under more strain there. |
Electric lip gloss |
A rank |
Electro-Lip Gloss, available through the New Eridu Fund Season Pass, is a good, affordable W engine for Miyabias the ATK percentage and flat damage bonuses it grants depend on enemies being affected by an anomaly, and when Miyabi is on the field this should always be the case. |
Crying twins |
A rank |
The best craftable and free to play W engine Weeping Gemini is available for Miyabi and provides a solid ATK% bonus and increases her anomaly damage quite a bit. |
Rainforest Gourmet |
A rank |
If you have nothing else, Rainforest Gourmet's stacking ATK% bonus per 10 energy spent is a viable last choice for Miyabi, but you should try to at least find Weeping Gemini as a replacement if you can. |
In short, if you can get it, Hailstorm Shrine is the only W engine you should consider for Miyabi. If you don't plan on spending money on Zenless Zone Zero and don't have a large stack of Polychromes and Encrypted Master tapes ready to play, Fusion Compiler and Weeping Gemini are your best free-to-play options.

Best drive disks for Miyabi
This shouldn't come as a surprise to any player who saw Miyabi's introductory cutscene while playing through the story campaign Miyabi has a Drive Disc that was almost custom-made for her.
During the construction of Miyabi You'll want to use four pieces from the Branch & Blade Song set. It provides a 16 percent bonus to Miyabi's critical damage with two pieces. If her Anomaly Master is 115 or higher, her Crit. Damage increases by an additional 30%, and any Freeze or Shatter effects applied during combat increase her critical strike rate by an additional 12 percent for 15 seconds.
There are a few good options for the two sets of drive pulleys, but only Two of them stand out as frontrunners:
- Polar metal provides a flat ten percent bonus to Miyabi's ice damage, which applies to all of her attacks, regardless of whether they are critical or not.
- Woodpecker ElectroThe two-part buff is an eight percent bonus to Miyabi's critical strike rate, which can help reach the 80 percent breakpoint of her core passive.
The desired statistics on your drive discs are as follows:
- Piece 4 (bottom right): Crit rate with ATK% and Crit. Damage undervalues.
- Piece 5 (Middle right): Ice damage bonus with crit rate and crit damage substats.
- Piece 6 (top right): ATK% with substats for Crit Rate and Crit Damage
You should focus on reaching Miyabi's crit first. Rate almost 80 percent as possible, then increase her ATK% and Crit. Damage values as high as possible. While not a focus, if you can increase your Anomaly Proficiency to 115 or higher, you can take full advantage of the effects of the Branch & Blade Song Drive Disc.
Which disks you place where is much less important than the stats they grant, and as long as you have four Bridge & Blade Song and two of the other optimal setsyou will be fine.
Best Miyabi Teams
One of the best things about Miyabi is that because she is so incredibly powerful, She can carry almost any team composition imaginablebut there are a few requirements you need to meet if you want to get the most out of your equipment.
Primarily: Part of her core competency requires her to have either another Section 6 member or a support unit on the team. Luckily, there are meta options that check one or both of these boxes. The most obvious is Soukaku, who are both members of Section 6 And a support unit.
Further support options for a Miyabi team include: Caesar as the best choiceLucy or Seth for A ranks or Rina for a standard S rank.
The third character you choose should somehow benefit both Miyabi and Support, with other Anomaly agents best fitting that bill. like Yanagi as a first choice, Burnice as another or Lycaon from the default banner. In an emergency, Anby or Harumasa can also help.

Miyabi's best team pairs her with not only one of the previous DPS champions, but also one of the best and most comfortable defensive units around Yanagi and Caesar.
There is so much to this team setup, but the key parts that Miyabi is not directly involved with are:
- Caesar's shield Provides damage reduction, anti-stagger, and ATK% bonus. It's easy to maintain (just use her EX special once to power it up) and brings it back to DPS. You can even build Caesar to create additional daze, making her act as a pseudo-stun unit.
- Yanagi's ability to activate Disorder outside of the usual time window is invaluable as it grants Miyabi a stack of Fallen Frost, the meter that boosts her held auto attack. Miyabi is also one of the other best DPS units in the game, capable of increasing and improving the already massive damage that Anomaly units can deal.
You can swap Yanagi for Burncie or even Grace and still have a perfectly good, fun team.

Free-to-play players also have numerous options for using Miyabi. You get Soukaku as part of the progression in Shiyu Defense Mode and Lucy is a more accessible A rank. She is also available on Harumasa's Banner if you decide to move there too.
You won't get anywhere near the value from any of these compositions that you would get from their premium team, but again: Miyabi is so strong that the differences aren't big enough everything except top difficulty content and investment-oriented content.
-
Between the two, Lycaon is a much better stun choiceas he can reduce ice resistance on enemies and his stun application is much better than Anby's. However, if you weren't lucky enough to add Lycaon to your team, Anby is an acceptable replacement.
- Lucy is probably a slightly better choice than Soukakuas she requires much less time on the field to activate her buffs, but Soukaku's ATK% buffs are still incredibly powerful if you haven't drawn Lucy yet.
No matter what teams you play with Miyabi, there is a 100% guarantee Not only will you destroy your enemies, but you'll also feel motivated while doing it.
