Tekken Fans were recently alarmed when news spread that Katsuhiro Harada might be quitting Bandai Namco, and the game maker has offered clarification. This follows a change to Harada's LinkedIn page that many believed suggested he was leaving the site Tekken Team.
Harada was part of the team that was brought along Tekken in life since its inception, although not always in the same role. First, he gave some of them votes Tekken Characters in its first release and later directed the game, starting with Tekken 3. Although his role in the series sometimes changes, many fans have expressed concern that he might leave the company and the series' development team entirely.

However, Harada has since clarified the matter, stating that he is not going anywhere and merely wants to broaden his horizons by speaking to more people. Harada assured Tekken Fans not to worry about it, and Genki has since retracted his original post.
Development of Tekken 8 continues with Harada on board
While fans were initially concerned, it wouldn't make much sense for Harada to leave the team at this point. Tekken 8 still receives new content.
