Fairy Farm is coming to PlayStation and Xbox on October 22nd, Phoenix Labs announced. The Canadian studio announced this upcoming port wave just weeks after Fairy Farmfirst anniversary.
Fairy Farm is an indie farming simulation with combat, romance and RPG mechanics, making it conceptually similar to Stardew Valley. It was originally released for Nintendo Switch and PC in early September 2023.
Ports for Fae Farm announced for PlayStation and Xbox
Phoenix Labs has now announced that its latest game will be coming to even more platforms, having just confirmed it for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The PlayStation and Xbox versions of Fairy Farm are due to be released on October 22nd. That is also the date the game will be released in the Microsoft Store. PC gamers have so far only been able to purchase the indie farm simulation via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Although the Xbox Store page is not yet live, PlayStation users can already pre-order Fairy Farm on the PS Store for $29.99.
Fae Farm offers full cross-play across all platforms
In addition to launching via Nintendo’s eShop, the Switch version of Fairy Farm also had a physical release in September 2023. It is currently unclear whether the upcoming Xbox and PlayStation ports will follow suit. What is certain is that they will include all the free post-launch content that Fairy Farm has received so far. Likewise, Phoenix Labs confirmed that its farming simulation will feature full cross-play support across all platforms. According to the game's PS Store listing, these DLC packs will be included in the farming sim's Deluxe Edition, which will retail for $44.99. Phoenix Labs has previously only committed to two post-launch expansions, so it's unclear if the game will receive any more major content expansions.

The game itself currently has “overwhelmingly positive” reviews on Steam and a “strong” OpenCritic rating, the latter derived from an overall score of 75 and a 60% recommendation rate from reviewers.
