Honkai: Star RailAglaea and the newest Trailblazer variant will debut as the first group of Remembrance characters. The developers partially explained the mechanics of their respective Memosprites, Garmentmaker and Mem, in the Paean of Era Nova special program. HSR has carefully teased out information about Memosprites in the livestreams of versions 2.7 and 3.0. Here's what the developers have confirmed so far.

  • Memo sprites can be selected as a target: Some allies can strengthen and heal Memosprites, and enemies can damage them.
  • Memosprites have individual abilities: The developers explained during the 3.0 livestream that Memosprites have an energy meter that charges when the main character performs certain actions such as using their skill or ultimate ability. When it is full, the Memosprite can use its ability. The Clothing Maker's skill is to attack a target and its adjacent units. Meanwhile, Mem can fully advance an ally's turn and boost their attack with True DMG, which ignores all buffs and debuffs to deal direct damage to the opponent.   • Some Memosprites have limited time on the battlefield: The developers also explained that Aglaea's Memosprite will eventually leave the battlefield after several rounds. Possible future memo sprites
