Should you kill the Shah or Roosevelt?

STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl has a lot of difficult decisions to make, and many of them will leave players overwhelmed with indecision. One of these decisions players will have to make when completing the King Of The Hill mission in Stalker 2.

Players are asked to kill two of the Garbage Zone kingpings for Varan during the mission “A Deal With The Devil.” But the question remains, should they Kill the Shah or Roosevelt? Here's what players should consider.

Should players kill Roosevelt in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl?

Killing Roosevelt could prove to be quite complicated, as players will not be able to reach the base where he is hidden unless they launch a frontal attack (like we did). But there is another option: use stealth by accessing the back door of the base via the firing range.

If players kill Roosevelt, they must collect his PDA to complete the mission objective and deliver it to Varan. Once they do this, the location of Roosevelt's stash is displayed on the map.

The killing of Roosevelt has no immediate consequences, only the elimination of a crazy and dangerous bandit who is using the commissioner for his own selfish purposes. And of course, there's plenty of loot to be gained by destroying the entire base. But if players come and go unnoticed and only kill the Kingping and his guards, the rest of the Commissaire gang will not attack them.

Should players kill Shah in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl?

Like Roosevelt, killing Shah isn't so easy. This time there is no secret entrance and there are only two ways to do this seamlessly. The first is in the secondary mission “No Honor Among Thieves.” If players choose to kill Docent and reveal the location of Shah's first hideout, they will notice this when they bring it with them Shah's buddy for the Bouncerit will let them in.

The bar is exclusive to Brood Bandits. So if players try to get in any other way, they will be attacked. Which leads us to our other option: pave a bloody path to reach Shah. If players do it this way, they will have to deal with many bouncers before they can target Shah, who is hidden on the second floor of the bar.

Once Shah is dead, remove the PDA from his body and he will tell you the location of another one supplies for the Shah, This is northwest of Brood Bar, on the roof of a Ward base. It contains a modified UDP and a silencer, so it might be worth looting.

Killing Shah will have no immediate consequences to the plot, but killing Garbage will leave him at the mercy of either Roosevelt or Varan, so it's up to the players to decide who to kill. There is another option.

What happens if players kill both Shah and Roosevelt in STALKER 2?

If players decide to clean up the trash of dangerous gangsters, they can pursue both Roosevelt and Shah, but must do so before returning to Varan. This will not have any additional consequences, but will provide security for players Access to Shah and Roosevelt's hideouts, who have some nice loot.

Don't forget to collect both PDAs from the corpses to reveal the location of the hiding places. Otherwise, they will be locked out and players will miss the chance to get the weapons and ammunition inside.

But this quest gives players another way to solve things faster: killing Varan.

What happens if players kill Varan in STALKER 2?

To complete the Deal With The Devil, there are two other options players can choose if they don't want to go through the trouble of killing both Kingpings and want to do it quicker.

The first is to pay Varan 20,000 vouchers for the information, which is excessive, but if players have exploited the money farming bug they should have plenty of money left over.

The other is Kill Varan and his henchmen (there are about ten of them, so be careful), which is the quicker way to complete this quest. Since Varan plans to betray us from the start, this bypasses the other objectives and aborts the King of The Hill quest.

Then just do it Loot the garage key From Varan's corpse, go to the lower level, open the storage door and loot both corpses there to complete the mission objective.

No matter what players choose, upon returning to the Slag Heap, players will notice that the Ward soldiers have taken over it and a new quest will begin.

Players can still return to Garbage and kill both Shah and Roosevelt if they wish to raid their bases, even if they choose to kill Varan before completing King of the Hill.
