Indiana Jones and the Great Circle features some of the best puzzles and tomb raiding in a video game, and in many ways fits Spielberg's films.

In Secret of Secrets, players are tasked with opening a locked safe, with subtle hints on how to open it without brute force. Since it is a four-digit lock, players will not want to try every combination and find both the answer and the solution to solve the Secret of Secrets Indiana Jones and the Great Circle can be found below.

How to Unravel the Secret of Secrets in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Location of the “Secret of Secrets” puzzle.

The Secret of Secrets is located in the back room of the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican City Chapter. The players will find a safe on a desk and next to it there is a note to collect: Nicoletti's letter.

The letter itself describes the clues players need to solve this puzzle and asks players to: “Look at the stars and the saints: Peter with the key, then Paul with the sword.”

Players must go to the right side of the safe to find the wooden statuette of Saint Peter, identified by the way he holds a key. They can then inspect and rotate this object once they pick it up to view the underside of the statue, which has two symbols engraved in white color on the bottom. The two symbols below should be the Astronomical Symbols for Mars x2. (4, 4)

Next, players will want to return to the safe, where they will find the wooden statuette of Saint Paul, identified by his sword. Collect this item and examine it. Look at the bottom to discover two more symbols: Uranus and Mercury. (7, 1)

On the desk opposite the safe, players can open the drawer on the left to reveal the Planet Map Note, which lists the astronomical symbols of all planets except Pluto. Starting with Mercury (at the bottom of the page), the planets are listed from 1 to 8, with the only missing symbol being that of Mars, which is 4.

Now that players have the clue to translate the astronomical symbols beneath the statues, it's time to enter the correct code into the safe.

The safe code for the Secret of Secrets puzzle is 4471.

Once opened, players are rewarded with a fake Secretum Secretorum book, which they can simply throw away as it is a fake – and the real treasure for players lies beneath the book.

Players can also grab Cutman 1, a fitness book that improves health bar regeneration efficiency and costs a total of 250 Adventure Points to unlock.

Finally, players can collect a hidden note, which rewards them with more Action Points that they can spend on books to improve Indy's abilities. After collecting these items, the Secret of Secrets mystery is complete.
