There will officially be a PlayStation State of Play showcase on September 24th that will be broadcast live. This update comes after speculation began back in August. Since then, insiders like Jeff Grubb have claimed that Sony is aiming for a late September date, which is now a fact. Due to these rumors, many fans and insiders have speculated on what the themes of the event will be. Sony has confirmed that over 20 titles will be included, and if the rumors are true, some of them will be remasters. As the upcoming State of Play draws closer, some concrete titles have been mentioned.
Rumored exclusive PlayStation remasters
Horizon Zero Dawn
This rumor came about when a leaked Horizon Zero Dawn Rating appeared on the ESRB website, which immediately reignited the discussion about a remake of the PlayStation exclusive title. Rumors about a Horizon Zero Dawn Remasters have been floating around for some time, but the leak and the upcoming State of Play have added more weight to the speculation. As one of PlayStation’s newer IPs, the horizon Franchise was a huge success for Sony, Horizon Zero Dawn Remasters for PS5 seem most likely.
