Pre-order any edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 does not grant any additional content for the game itself. However, there is still a reward for players who purchase the game before November 19th. This gives them access to the De Havilland Canada CL-415 firefighting aircraft, which can be used in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

All editions of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024Include the De Havilland Canada CL-415 as standard. So if you want to use the aircraft in the 2024 version, no pre-order is required. The pre-order bonus only applies if you want to use the aircraft in the previous one, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

Different editions of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is available in four main editions, each increasing in price and offering additional content. There is also a Collector's Edition, which will be discussed separately below. The four main editions are Standard, Deluxe, Premium Deluxe and Aviator Edition. Standard edition

Aviator Edition

In the Aviator Edition, players drop big money. It's the most expensive digital edition available, costing a whopping $199.99. In total you have access to 125 aircraft and 160 modernized airports.

Limited Collector's Edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

This Collector's Edition is aimed at the most dedicated fans of the Microsoft Flight Simulator series with a hefty price tag of $259.99. The edition in question is only available through AeroSoft. As expected, it offers the most content. Here's what you get in the Limited Collector's Edition:
