  • Torterra the Unrivaled will appear in Seven-Star Tera Raids from November 14th to 17th
  • A second round will take place from November 21st to 24th Pokémon Coaches who missed the first weekend.
  • Torterra the Unrivaled will be of the Tera-Boden type and will carry the Most Powerful Mark.
  • Grass-type Pokémon are recommended to withstand Torterra's powerful attacks.

Like previous bosses, Torterra the Unmatched will have a hidden ability that he can use. In this case, Torterra has armor that protects it from critical hits. This hidden ability has already been introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violetduring the Tera raids in March 2023 against Samurott the Unrivaled. However, the armor can be removed with moves like Skill Swap, Sorrow Seed, and Stomach Acid. Even without armor, Torterra the Unrivaled can still perform grass and ground attacks, the latter type receiving a power boost from Terastallization. Although flying Pokémon are immune to moves like Earthquake, Torterra can counter with rock attacks like Stone Edge.

Given the Ground-type's weakness against strong Grass-types, a team with creatures like Serperior and Appletun could prove useful. Only time will tell what strategies exist Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Players develop.
