December is just around the corner and it's the perfect time to get some gaming done Pokémon GO. The mobile game has been in the spotlight for just over four years now and is still proving popular even as the end of another year approaches. Every Tuesday when the events take place, players can obtain a large amount of all the Pokémon selected for that Spotlight Hour, which can result in a Shiny or just a really powerful Pokémon with an excellent moveset.
During this event, players will also have the opportunity to receive some additional rewards to benefit from their gaming experience in catching Pokémon, such as: B. different types of candy, XP or stardust, all important in-game currencies that help give players a boost. Candy and Stardust are used to improve and evolve your Pokémon or teach them new moves. Here they are Pokémon GO Spotlight hours are scheduled for January 2025.

Pokemon GO Spotlight Class Schedule for January 2025
There are a total of four Spotlight hours available to players this month, and the lineup for this month is pretty exciting since it's the first of the brand new year. This The Spotlight Hours take place every Tuesday between 6 and 7 p.mPlayer's local time. Pokémon GO is very accommodating in the sense that you don't have to stick to a different time zone than the one the players are in. So in the game at 6:00 p.m. for the player's local time it will also be this time, unlike other games that go on their own day and night cycle.
During the Spotlight Hour, players don't need to make any effort other than log in and play as players begin to see the map covered with the Pokemon selected for that Tuesday. From there, players can begin catching the Pokémon and earning all the rewards available for that day's event. Below is the Spotlight schedule for January 2025, as well as the Pokémon and rewards that will be included during the hour-long event:

January 7th – Voltorb & Hisuian Voltorb, catch 2x stardust

Each month is always a highlight when it comes to enjoying the free Spotlight Hour. No purchase is required for players to participate in the event, and it provides players with the perfect opportunity to obtain a Shiny variant of so many Pokémon over the weeks and months. Players will end up owning a collection of Shiny Pokémon before they know it.
All of the Pokémon listed above are also available in a Shiny variant. This means players have an increased chance of catching one during Spotlight Hours since spawn rates have already increased. Players should make sure to start an incense at the start of the hour to ensure they have as many spawns as possible so they can keep an eye out for a Shiny.
