Carrot was first introduced into the story after the events of Dressrosa One piece Zou Arc. Part of the Minx tribe, Carrot is a young rabbit humanoid and a member of Duke Dogstrom's Musketeer Squad. As a result, she has quite great combat skills and can hold her own against strong opponents.
But when the Straw Hats left Zou One piece Whole Cake Island, Carrot secretly joined the Sanji Retrieval Team, following her idol Pedro. Left on Wano
But despite everything that… One piece Minx, Carrot, did it for the crew, at the end of the Wano arc the Straw Hats left them behind without even saying goodbye. Despite saying goodbye to Kin'emon and Momonosuke, Carrot doesn't even receive a thank you for the time and effort she put in. For many, this was a disappointing farewell for a character many considered an honorary member of the Straw Hat crew.
But there are so many people who are much stronger than me! – Carrot to the Minx tribe
This is especially disappointing since Carrot accomplished a lot during her adventures. Without Carrot awakening her Sulong form, the Straw Hats would have been easily captured by them One piece Emperor, great mother. Additionally, during Whole Cake Island, Carrot witnessed her mentor and idol Pedro sacrificing himself to give the rest of the group a better chance of escape. Given the amount of physical and emotional trauma Carrot endured during her time with the Straw Hats, a simple goodbye would have gone a long way.

The anime gives a non-cannon farewell
Too little, too late

However, despite this moment, many fans are still saddened by the character's inappropriate farewell, explaining that her need to explore the seas has already been fulfilled through her adventures with the Straw Hats. Whether or not she leaves the Straw Hats, Carrot returns to the Minx tribe to become the group's new leader, ultimately ending her career as a pirate.
