The release dates for these chapters have been announced and fans of the series couldn't be more excited as the story continues to delve into its Elbaf arc.

One Piece will have three chapters in a row

January 19th, January 26th and February 2nd Mark 3 chapters in a row

So many One piece Fans now know this One piece Manga takes a lot more breaks than before. However, One piece will have a whopping three consecutive chapters for the first time in a long time.

The first of the three chapters has already been published and appeared last Sunday, January 19, 2025. The featured chapter was One piece 1136.

Next Sunday, January 26, 2025, fans will get another One Piece chapter in 1137. This will be the final chapter of January, but there's more to come.

This has now been confirmed One piece won't be taking a break next week, meaning fans will get three chapters in a row. One piece Chapter 1138 will be released on February 2, 2025.

However, One Piece is expected to take a break on the following Sunday, February 9th. The manga will quickly resume the week after the break, on February 16th.

Why Oda took so many breaks

There are several reasons for this, but one of the main reasons was Oda's health problems. In fact, writing a manga is not an easy task and it takes its toll on the mangaka and Oda is not immune to it. One Piece is a very long series and Oda has struggled with many health problems, especially in the last year.

Oda wanted to get involved too One Piece Live Actionwhich caused him to take breaks. As many fans know, the live-action second season was filmed in 2024.

Oda also wants to take more breaks in general to maintain a healthy schedule. One Piece is a lot of work and fans should be happy that Oda has time to recover to come back and deliver his weekly chapters.

It is likely that there will be many breaks in 2025 as well, but perhaps not as many as in 2024.
