Loki is one of the most fascinating One piece characters at the moment. Fans recently saw Loki reintroduced into the story, while also getting their first proper look at the character. It is safe to say that Loki is an extremely powerful individual whose strength amazes all readers.

Loki's strength exceeds anything fans imagined, and Oda has specifically confirmed that he is an immensely powerful individual. One piece Chapter 1130 gave fans a glimpse of what Loki is truly capable of, and it's safe to say that there's a lot more to come for him in the future of One Piece's Elbaf arc.

Loki was first introduced to fans in the Whole Cake Island arc, where it was revealed that he was in love with Lola. Of course, as fans already know, this marriage didn't happen, and that was mainly because Lola wanted to decide her own fate instead of being married off by her mother. At this point, fans weren't expecting much from Loki. This is mainly because the silhouette Oda initially chose for him didn't exactly give the impression that he was strong. However, fans were aware of the fact that Loki would be involved in the further story.

It wasn't until One Piece's Elbaf arc that Oda finally gave fans a hint of Loki's strength, as he was introduced fairly early in the arc, particularly in Chapter 1130 of One Piece. As the East Blue 5 and the Chopper escaped Road's clutches and made their way through Elbaf, Luffy felt an absolutely immense presence around him. In fact, according to Luffy, the presence was so strong that his entire body began to tingle. This presence shows clearly Loki's incredible strength which Luffy is currently sensing with his Observation Haki. Luffy wasn't even the only one who felt this powerful presence.

Zoro and Sanji knew that this powerful, powerful individual was around them too, simply because of how powerful this power was. This is an absolutely huge statement from Oda regarding Loki's strength. And that would further imply that the presence that Luffy is feeling right now, which is strong enough to permeate his entire body, is his weakened presence. This wouldn't even be Loki's full power, making him an even bigger monster in One Piece and one that fans would have to be wary of.

As previously mentioned, Loki possesses a powerful devil fruit. In One Piece Chapter 1130, it was clearly established that Loki consumed a legendary devil fruit at some point in history. This legendary devil fruit was owned by his father Harald, the King of Elbaf. However, Loki decided to kill his father, and when he did, he stole the devil fruit and consumed it. This devil fruit was said to be legendary, and perhaps that's exactly why Loki ate it. That doesn't mean all of its strengths come from this fruit.

What Luffy and the others clearly sense is his normal strength without the devil fruit. Loki can certainly strengthen himself by harnessing the power of the Devil Fruit. Fans don't know what this devil fruit is at this point, but they will certainly be made aware of it later in One Piece. It is likely that this devil fruit belongs to either the Logia or Zoan class, specifically the mythical Zoan. These fruits are often considered legendary due to their status of being the strongest.

Since there are many mythical creatures in Norse mythology, it is likely that this fruit is a mythical Zoan. This would also fit with the idea that Loki considers himself to be the Sun God, which would mean that the fruit could have something to do with the powers of the Sun God himself. Loki is definitely a powerful devil fruit user, and fans can't wait to see him free so he can show off what skills he has up his sleeve and what true level of power he possesses.

Another indication of Loki's immense strength is the fact that he was not easily imprisoned. Loki was certainly imprisoned after consuming his devil fruit. Of course, he probably used his power in battle, and imprisoning him required all of Elbaf to band together. Essentially, it took an entire country to stop one person from going on a rampage, which once again proves his strength. This has even greater implications when you consider that the Giants of Elbaf are the strongest race in the One Piece world, and essentially what Oda is saying here is that it took an entire race to defeat this one individual they are considering , to imprison the disgraced prince.

Loki's strength is absolutely magnificent and there is no denying that. In fact, fans haven't even seen the best of him yet, and he certainly hasn't even gained full control of his powers yet. If Loki takes his powers to the next level, such as by obtaining Devil Fruit Awakening, his overall strength will grow even further. Loki claims that he wants to destroy the world, which essentially means he has to be powerful enough to do it. In other words, Loki believes he is the strongest and fans can't wait to see what he really has to offer once he gives it his all.
