MoU to drive job creation, training in Saudi hospitality 

RIYADH: A water supply and environmental hygiene project by the Saudi aid organization KSrelief in Yemen has further improved the living conditions of the people living there.

Between June 19 and 25, approximately 1,033,550 liters of drinking water and 10,849,000 liters of industrial water were provided in Hajjah. The project team worked in the Midi, Haradh, Hayran and Abs districts, as well as in the As-Ashour camp in the Razih district of Saada.

There were 38 trips to remove garbage from the displaced persons' camps, while in Saada, 70,000 litres of drinking water and domestic water were pumped through, benefiting 30,100 people.

KSrelief also launched a voluntary medical project for ENT surgeries and tumor removal in Mukalla, Hadramaut province.

The initiative, which began on July 20 for a week, involves 22 volunteers from various medical disciplines. To date, the medical team has successfully performed 60 special operations.

In Sudan, KSrelief has now completed its urological surgery project in Port Sudan. The week-long program involved 11 volunteers and resulted in 119 successful special surgeries.
