When bots are invisible, they seem unable to get past her or hurt her, effectively taking them out of the game.
Marvel Rivals has been accused of filling its quickplay matches with bots for a variety of reasons, and it's quickly reached a point where many players are tired of them showing up. However, the addition of Invisible Woman to the roster appears to have given Rivals players an unexpected weapon in the fight against the bots, rendering them useless as they cannot see the new character when she uses her passive ability.
The allegations that NetEase is filling select Rivals matches with bots began late last month when a study appeared to show that bots only appeared after players had lost two Quickplay matches in a row. Presumably the idea is that players will then win the third game relatively easily and not become disillusioned with the game.

However, complaints about bots have grown ever more intense since then, with some accusing their placement of being far more random, possibly a tactic to prevent players from having to queue for too long. As for the easy way to neutralize them if you come across these alleged bots, the video below shows how effective Invisible Woman can be by doing almost nothing.
Marvel Rivals has a bot problem
And the invisible woman could be the solution
Shared by RivalsAssembled, via barky1616, Invisible Woman makes her way to the opposing team's base. She then stops at the bottom of the stairs that most players use to get back to where the action is taking place. This is the path the bots take and hop over the railing when they get there. However, since there is an invisible barrier preventing them from doing so, they simply stand right next to the Invisible Woman and do nothing.
Since the bots can't see Invisible Woman, they don't know she's there and so don't attack her. Adam Warlock and Hulk, the bots in this specific example, are eliminated from the game without a shot having to be fired. They just stand there, unable to jump up the stairs and get back into battle to help the rest of their team.
NetEase has not yet acknowledged the use of bots to fill games or make it easier for players in trouble, so it seems unlikely that the company has any plans to remove them. However, if you suspect that you are playing against bots, this is a good way to find out for sure. It's also a good way to get an easy, if rather boring, victory. Switch to Invisible Woman and look after a few bots while the rest of your team does the hard work.
