Sakamoto days seems to be getting a lot of attention on Netflix, but the manga fanbase is divided on the anime. Even before the series aired, fans expressed concerns about the action scenes feeling stiffer than they expected.
So part of the fan base is disappointed with the anime but the other part enjoys it. Newcomers to the series, on the other hand, generally seem to like what they see.
However, the series is not yet represented in the global weekly Netflix charts Dandadan (displayed in the table each week during broadcast), but could still attract more attention from subscribers. Even though it didn't chart worldwide, it may have topped the charts in certain countries.
