BENGHAZI: The Libyan House of Representatives announced on Sunday the opening of nominations for the presidency of a new government, the Libyan News Agency reported. Interested candidates can submit their nomination papers at the House of Representatives headquarters in Benghazi from Sunday until August 11. House Speaker Abdullah Balihaq said in an announcement on the council's official site that the Speaker, Aguila Saleh, is calling on representatives and members of the Supreme Council of State to propose qualified candidates for the post of prime minister.
