  • Gege focuses on multiple characters

  • A look into the future is granted

While Jujutsu Kaisens It was announced on the Jump Festa 2025 stage that with the release of the final volume, the story will soon receive a 16-page epilogue from the author. Given that the final volume is just around the corner, fans now have information about what JJKs The last chapter, i.e. chapter 272, or in other words simply the epilogue chapter, will be about everything. During Jump Festa, it was announced that the epilogue chapter would focus on specific characters from the story. Those characters turned out to be Ozawa, Nobara, Panda, and Uraume, much to the surprise of fans. That's how it works JJK Epilogues went. For the sake of clarity, these epilogues have been arranged in an order that best suits them JJK Timeline.

Epilogue by Sukuna and Uraume

Timeline: Heian era

The epilogue of Sukuna and Uraume could be considered the most exciting and touching. It was by far the best part of the chapter and came at the very end. This epilogue is set in the Heian era, and that essentially means that this was fans' first real glimpse of that era. Fans have always wanted a recap of Sukuna and Uraume and more information about how the two met and what exactly their relationship is like. Now, with the release of JJK Chapter 272, things are much clearer.

Why does Sukuna-sama never get cold around me? – Uraume

Essentially, Uraume was found by Sukuna in what appeared to be a forest. Uraume's powers seemingly spiraled out of control and the cryogenic abilities basically destroyed everything around her, including her parents. For one reason or another, Sukuna felt pity for Uraume and asked her to follow him. Eventually they got to know each other better and Sukuna let her cook. At the location of a deer, Sukuna asked her to use his powers again. Uraume was initially confused as he looked at the scenario. When Sukuna found out that Uraume was hungry, he asked her to eat.

Uraume then used her powers to cool the meat and offered some to Sukuna as well. Sukuna was shocked at how much control Uraume had over their abilities and asked them how they trained for this power. Uraume just learned all of this on her own and they definitely impressed Sukuna.

The King of Curses immediately recognized her talent, which is why he decided to stay by her side. At the same time, he also felt pity for them, especially because they had no one in the world to turn to. Here Sukuna asked them if they could slaughter humans next. According to Sukuna, humans are a completely different kind of delicacy. While Uraume didn't answer exactly and they just thought about how Sukuna didn't get cold around her even though her entire family died because of her powers.

Sukuna was amused by this comment from Uraume, who didn't know that he was the King of Curses. However, Sukuna felt a similar feeling, as no one in his life ever felt the same warmth around him as Uraume. The two walked away together and that marked the end of the epilogue.

Epilogue by Yuji and Ozawa

Timeline: After the Shinjuku Showdown

Jujutsu Kaisen episode 30

The afterword by Yuji and Ozawa was also rather short. It's unclear what the author planned with this epilogue, but fans were initially able to see Yuji and Ozawa's flashback where they were both fascinated by snow. In the current timeline, Ozawa was still struggling with no one from her school days recognizing her when Yuji immediately stumbled upon her and called her by her name, just like fans had seen earlier in the series. They both continued to talk about life, and all of that reflected in them because they still liked the snow.

JJK has a lot planned for fans. The key visuals for the Culling Game arc have just been revealed.

It seems that their fondness for snow is a metaphor for spending time together, like they did when they were in school. Both Yuji and Ozawa admit that they still like snow, and it seems that the author may be hinting at a budding relationship here.

Nobara's epilogue

Timeline: After Gojo's death

Nobara presents her new eye patch.

Nobara's epilogue takes place sometime after the end of JJK. Fans got to see Nobara meet her mother, just like Gojo wanted. This epilogue was quite shocking as it turned out that Nobara's mother was completely different than what fans had imagined. She seems to be a pretty jealous mother who has absolutely no worries about her child. She also seems to have been a mother with absolutely no empathy and terrible parenting skills at the same time.

What you lacked was magic skills, but parenting skills. – Nobara

Today, she still goes out partying, dating younger men, and spending money, even though she has little or nothing to do with Nobara's upbringing. While Nobara could easily be sad about this, she instead made it clear that the only reason she was visiting her mother was because Gojo wished it that way, and that she did not want to disrespect the dead. Nobara made it clear that she didn't like her mother at all and actually invited her grandmother to the crime scene as well. It seems that Nobara's mother is afraid of her own mother, even of her age, and that's exactly why Nobara found it incredibly funny to invite her to the meeting too.

Panda's epilogue

Timeline: 62 years after the end of JJK

One of the most shocking epilogues ever Jujutsu Kaisen takes place over 60 years in the future. Long after the conclusion of the Shinjuku Showdown arc, it was revealed that Panda was essentially taken to the warehouse owned by the Gojo family in 2035. At this point, the acting head of the Gojo family was none other than Yuta Okkotsu. Much later in 2080, it was revealed that Yuta had grandchildren and these grandchildren found Panda's cursed corpse.

This doll still moves sometimes, although rarely. It was revealed that Yuta had two grandchildren, a boy and a girl. Both are rather loud-mouthed and the exact opposite of Yuta himself. Unfortunately, the fans didn't get to see Yuta at all in the epilogue. But his grandchildren were certainly entertaining to watch. Hopefully this ending will be expanded upon by JJK in the future.

Jujutsu Kaisen's epilogue was released with the final volume. The final volume of JJK will be released in Japan on December 25, 2024. The English version of the volume will be released sometime in 2025.
