This is where Sandbox mode comes into play, giving you the opportunity to have wads of cash that you most likely won't run out of in certain modes. However, if you feel like you're already at the top of your game when it comes to consciously creating a brutal challenge to campus operations, Sandbox mode can help you in that regard too.

How to unlock sandbox mode

Sandbox mode will be grayed out in the main menu when you start the game for the first time. You do not need to complete Two Point Campus to unlock the mode. All you have to do is Get a one-star campus on Freshleigh Meadows, the first level in the game. The game lasts less than an hour.

To get a one-star campus, you essentially have to complete the tutorial for the game as it will guide you through most of the entire process. You will have one Reach a one-star campus by the end of the second year by completing the objective tasks given along the way.

Once you get a star, you unlock the next campus you can Save and exit the main menu to play the newly unlocked sandbox mode instead.

Sandbox mode gives you all the tools you need to create your desired gaming experience with Two Point Campus. You can Choose to unlock everything with (sub)modes like Creative Aside from having more money than you could easily spend, Or you can instead focus on creating a very challenging – or normal – experience.for yourself.

In sandbox mode you always have a choice. All maps in the game are automatically unlocked in the mode. So you don't have to achieve them in the main game first. However, one aspect that you should pay particular attention to is this Total number of plots on the map you selected.

More land means more space for your campus And if you plan to play creatively, we recommend having as much space as possible. The cards with the largest plot count of ten are as follows.

You can have 20 active sandbox files at once before you have to delete one.

You can save sandbox maps as you do with the main gaming campuses, and They will be saved as a sandbox file after you exit. This means you can return to your card at any time.

There are four sub-modes in Sandbox and each of these has a different purpose, one of which is a do-it-yourself approach to setting up your campus. All modes and information about each are listed below.

Sandbox submode	information
standard	Standard mode does what the name suggests: it's you When you get 75 course points, including a fair amount of cash, $300,000, you unlock university items with Kudosh points and then upgrade through research. So the university will grow at the pace you are used to in the main game This is the mode you should use if you want a normal experience.
Creative	Creative mode is where the sandbox really shines. You will initially receive $100,000,000 in cash and 25,000 course pointsso that you will find it difficult to run out of resources. With Creative, it's always possible to create quirky campuses without the fear of losing money, so you can get your academic brain going quickly.
Challenge	Challenge mode You initially only receive $150,000 cash and 30 course pointsTherefore, efficiency is required to successfully endure the stresses of challenge mode. It may be It's difficult to keep up without losing a ton of profit potentialSo keep that in mind before you jump into it headfirst. Plan ahead.
custom	This mode allows you to create your own set of rules for how the campus works. You can Customize settings such as starting money and Kudosh, monthly allowance, course points, plots and upgrades. Additionally, you can set goal types and turn off certain events such as VIP visits.

Turn off Disasters and Intruder Challenges in Custom Mode settings if you want a peaceful experience on campus.

While playing Sandbox, We recommend testing all of these modes in different files first and see what is most satisfying for you. Nonetheless, modes like Creative will let you get back into the maps you love and give them that much-deserved extra creative spark through your ideal campus ideas.
