How to solve the Wailing Tower puzzle in Witchfire
The Wailing Tower stands in the middle of the Isle of the Damned, the first map you set out on Witchfire. The monstrous structure holds a terrible secret: a multi-layered tomb that stretches deep beneath the Isle of the Damned. If you manage to reach the final floor, you will find the Prophet, one of the game's familiars (bosses), and the opportunity to unlock the Red Weaver weapon.
However, reaching the Prophet is not that easy. First, you must prove your worth by solving the Wailing Tower puzzle to pave the way forward Witchfire. This is a multi-stage puzzle that requires you to reach certain milestones before returning to the Wailing Tower in typical rogue-lite progression fashion. Here's what you do.

How to unlock the Wailing Tower on the Isle of the Damned
The entrance doors to the Wailing Tower are initially locked behind a red, magical barrier. As you approach the doors, a defense mechanism is triggered, spawning endless waves of enemies. The only way to disable the security barrier and unlock the Wailing Tower Witchfire is closed Find the Scepter of Saint Albert.
The rogue-lite progression of
Witchfire
does not force you to enter the Wailing Tower on your first expedition. Level up a few times to become stronger by eliminating all enemies on the Isle of the Damned before returning to the Hermitorium.
Interact with the statue on the right to give it the Scepter of Saint Albert, then fight off the enemy wave to open the doors. You also have the option to spend your volatile Witchfire Crystals to instantly destroy any enemies in the area. Just quickly press the on-screen prompt after interacting with the statue before the enemies reach you.
Location of the Scepter of Saint Albert
The scepter of Saint Albert can be looted by a corpse in yellow robes This appears in the large area overlooking the doors of the Wailing Tower or in the northeastern part of the map. However, its location changes for each player. In the image above, Saint Albert's Scepter was looted near the edge of the cliff Witchfire. Another location is near the stairs, to the right as you turn left after coming up the steep path from the north.

How to solve the Wailing Tower puzzle in Witchfire
In the Wailing Tower you will find seven braziers surrounding a skeletal sarcophagus. You need to Activate the flames in the correct order to solve the mystery of the Wailing Tower and open the entrance to the floors below. However, there are a few things that need to be done beforehand Witchfire.
Don't forget to pick up the Breath of Fire spell and the Scarlet Shore map after entering the Wailing Tower. The former unlocks a free elemental spell. The latter unlocks the second card

Unlock the seven shrines
In the northwestern part of the Isle of the Damned there are seven shrines called Ceremonial Obelisks. You must interact with each obelisk to unlock them on the map Witchfire. Their locations are shown in the image above.
The description of each ceremonial obelisk contains a note on the correct order in which the fires in the wailing tower must be activated. Since the shrines only need to be unlocked once and in any order, you can read all of their descriptions on the map by simply hovering over each obelisk icon.

Upgrade to Gnosis 2
Gnosis is a separate leveling system that is loosely tied to difficulty and determines what content you can access. The The burning braziers in the Wailing Tower are locked behind Gnosis 2so you have to improve your Gnosis level in the Hermitorium twice before you can solve the Isle of the Damned puzzle.
The Gnosis upgrade is permanent. They are tasked with clearing the Scarlet Shore, defeating their boss, and then returning to the Wailing Tower. This gives you enough time to become stronger by unlocking and improving the best weapons

Return to the Wailing Tower and activate the fires
The skeletal sarcophagus in the center resembles a combination lock on a safe. It rotates like a dial towards the fire you activate.
Open your map, read the text of the first ceremonial obelisk (all are numbered) and match it to the name of one of the braziers. Do this for all seven flames to reveal a staircase that takes you deep beneath the Isle of the Damned.
