RISE FROM THE ASHES is the fourth of seven Klues in Season 8 of Invasion Mode and can be found in Shang Tsung's Mesa Laboratory. It's connected to the Quick Beatdown node, which is just to the right of the first floor portal through which Mortal Kombat 1 Players first enter the mesa.

If done correctly, Liu Kang will transform into a powerful phoenix and engulf the other fighter in a violent explosion of flames. He then rises from the ashes. Players then return to the map screen and the debris that previously blocked their path is destroyed.
