How the final season of Arcane aims to exceed expectations with its impressive music

Fortiche Productions is currently in the process of releasing the final season of Arcane throughout November. It's been three years now League of Legends The TV show took center stage on Netflix's popularity charts and gained numerous followers. Now fans can watch the show one last time before it comes to an end in a few weeks. Arcane aims to end with a bang in all departments, but perhaps even doubly so in terms of music, as the second season alone features 22 tracks across 9 episodes.

In an interview with Game Rant, executive music producer Alex Seaver mentioned that he was very excited to see how fans would receive the large amount of music in the show. ArcaneThe high number of tracklists is said to place an emphasis primarily on storytelling, which he says is partly due to how well the use of music was received in the first season. That got artists reaching out and asking to get involved Arcane after it became clear that it was an artistic beast all its own. It wasn't just important to make sure every musician was there Arcane had room to develop and respect their work, but Seaver mentions that the animation and score team worked to challenge what they did last time to keep viewers guessing.

The second season of Arcane introduces a handful of new characters and the best ones have already found their way into the hearts of fans.

Arcane wants to reinvent his musical MO

Not many fans of Arcane I would refrain from praising the songs in the well-crafted episodes, with key songs from “Enemy” at the beginning to “What Could Have Been” stealing the show from fans at the end of the first season better than any dialogue could, and take their breath away. “What Could Have Been” even received special treatment in celebration of the Game Awards Arcane. Needless to say, the show has made a name for itself with its unique tracks and use of visual storytelling that memorably translates Riot Games' appreciation for music videos to a completely different medium.

Seaver specifically mentions that the process of creating these standout songs remained the same in both seasons, but fans have been waiting a while for more of them Arcanethe team wanted to excite viewers in a different way. In the years since the first season, the use of music has become an integral part of the show, and the team responsible for it decided to reinvent what to expect from these moments with the coal scene ArcaneThe 10th episode is a prime example. Seaver explained:

You know, in the second season we had eleven of them under our belt and said, “Okay, we know how to do this basically.” How much deeper can we integrate these songs and how can we surprise people?” Because the Another thing is that we don't want to do everything exactly the same when people say, “Okay, I get it.” Here comes another classic Arcane song moment.” There are a few songs [in season two] where we're really saying, “Okay, let's play around with our setup and just try to throw people in a way that still supports the storytelling.” I can't reveal any of it yet, but there are some really cool ones coming.

Even the first season stuff Arcane's music wasn't without its challenges. Seaver mentions that working on “What Could Have Been” was a scary challenge, as the entire nine-episode saga had to be directed with Sting's voice, and he was part of the team that brought the song to life. It was also a challenge because “What Could Have Been” was the only track to end the season without any other dialogue to bypass, but the results speak for themselves ArcaneThe season 1 finale remained on fans' minds as they waited for the series to return.

The first three episodes of the second season have already made an entire show out of their musical offerings, and there are still six episodes left that will surprise fans even more Arcane Fans should stick around to see how this colorful and dramatic story ends.
