Sarada Uchiha is one of the main characters Boruto series, although her previous treatment within the series itself may suggest otherwise. She is the child of Sasuke and Sakura, and just by being their child, fans know that she is given incredible importance to their character. But more than that, Sarada is a person who wants to become the Hokage of the village at some point in the future, which means her character is doubly special.

Unfortunately in the first half of… Boruto In the Naruto Next Generations series, Sarada didn't get the attention she deserved. The vast majority of the series focused on the characters Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki, meaning the likes of Sarada, Mitsuki, and the vast majority of the supporting cast appeared in the series Boruto Series were completely neglected. However, things look a little different in the Two blue swirls series, and Sarada seems to be getting her fair share of attention. Fans know that she competes against the Shinju in the manga, and based on this, the possibility of her receiving an even greater upgrade in the form of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan can be explored.

This happened at the very end because it was triggered by the shock of the news of Naruto's death and Boruto's possible capture. As soon as it was revealed that Naruto Uzumaki had died and that Boruto would be killed by the village, Sarada felt a strong emotional reaction that caused this Eye to awaken within her. Sasuke noticed this change right before his eyes and although he didn't tell her about it, it was clearly a powerful moment for her. Even though Sasuke had been brainwashed using omnipotence, the fact that Sarada awakened her Mangekyo Sharingan made him believe her more than his own memory. This is exactly why Sasuke helped rescue Boruto Uzumaki and helped him escape Konoha.

Sarada's design for the Mangekyo Sharingan certainly looked exciting. Fans could see something like a sun-shaped pattern in her eyes, which is quite similar to what Kishimoto originally planned for her. Unfortunately, fans haven't had a chance to see her use this power yet. After the events of Omnipotence, the series immediately went on hiatus for three years, and since then, Sarada has likely gained incredible powers and abilities. However, fans still don't know if she knows she had access to the Mangekyo Sharingan or if she even remembers gaining the ability.

It is also unknown if she has learned to control it or if she is still unaware of the fact that she wields enormous power. Hopefully the upcoming arcs are from Boruto will make that clear, and one way or another fans will see Sarada's great powers being used in battle. As for the Mangekyo Sharingan, fans can be sure that Sarada will show off his powers soon. The bigger problem arises when the question is examined in the context of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

As Sarada is, the Mangekyo Sharingan is not enough for her to compete against the highest ranks in the world, and that is a fact. That's exactly why it's very important for her to gain the powers of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

Why Sarada needs to strengthen her Sharingan

The limitations of the Mangekyo Sharingan will cripple Sarada

The reason Sarada needs to strengthen her Mangekyo Sharingan is simple. Fans know that she is a very strong personality, and that goes without saying. With her Mangekyo Sharingan, Sarada can compete in battle against some very strong individuals.

However, when it comes to keeping up with individuals like Jura or keeping up with Boruto at the same time, the Mangekyo Sharingan is certainly not enough. She needs more power and this can only come in the form of the eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. As fans know, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan greatly improves control over this eye's powers. It improves control over one's chakra and helps the user read movements even more precisely and carefully. It improves the overall skill level and also does not put excessive strain on the user's eyes, which is quite common with the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Additionally, since the user feels no burden, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan also allows them to further complete their Susanoo and create a perfect version of it. It is also directly related to the Mangekyo Sharingan's individual abilities, greatly strengthening them, as observed in the case of Sasuke.

Now that it has been established that the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan is absolutely incredible in terms of what it can do for Sarada in the future, the question becomes how she can even gain this power.

How Sarada Uchiha can obtain the eternal Mangekyo Sharingan

It was said that in order to obtain the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, the eyes of a close relative were needed. In the case of Madara Uchiha, fans know that he caught the attention of his brother Izuna. Sasuke also took the eyes of his brother Itachi to gain access to the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. Unfortunately for Sarada, there is no one she can look in the eye. Sasuke can only give her one eye, and even that is only possible in case he dies, otherwise he will surely need an eye of his own. Sarada also doesn't have any other siblings, meaning it's quite difficult for her to gain this power.

However, it is possible for her to obtain this eye through other means. On the one hand, one can say that it is possible that Sarada receives this eye through someone else, such as Shin Uchiha. Although the series states that blood relation to someone is required to obtain the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, this may not be an absolute necessity. In this case, getting a Sharingan from Shin should be enough to gain this power. But this whole idea seems rather disappointing.

It would be much better if Sarada received the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan after defeating someone, and this is where Hidari comes into play. As fans know, he has the same DNA as Sasuke. Although he does not possess the Sharingan, he is clearly aware of its existence and may attempt to form it in some way or form, especially after his rebirth following his near-death event in the fight against Boruto and Kawaki. If Sarada defeats Hidari in battle, she can avert his gaze from him, and in a way, this would become a deserving power-up for her.

However, there is another possibility beyond that that suggests that Sarada may be able to access the powers of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan without even obtaining this eye. This would be made possible by her awakening the Bykaugou, just like Sakura, and forcing her body to heal any damage she takes. This would mean that she would suffer no disadvantages from the Mangekyo Sharingan and would significantly strengthen herself in battle.
