Not unlike how Peter Parker captures Mary Jane Watson's cafeteria tray and all of its airborne food in Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man film, Insomniac balances a lot on its plate Marvel's Spider-Man 2. However, not every ingredient is included Marvel's Spider-Man 2 lands back on the plate as neatly as it was placed there, and in the third act the narrative stalls as an entire symbiote invasion is thrown into the mix. Given everything the sequel has tried to establish in the main series in its campaign and side quests, it seems obvious that there won't be many unheralded villains Marvel's Spider-Man 3.
Over and beyond, Marvel's Spider-Man 2The series of mini-games and rides at Coney Island was likely a nod to the antagonists not being featured in future episodes. There is no real danger Marvel's Spider-Man 3 It may only feature high-profile villains, but with at least Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Carnage and Chameleon on the program, it seems as if Insomniac wants to complete its web-slinging saga as an epic blockbuster. If there's even room for someone Insomniac to introduce to many gamers for the first time, Swarm – or perhaps SWARM – is already as close as ever.

Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man series has the potential to debut many villains, and yet Spider-Slayers may be a harder pill to swallow than others.
Emily-May's focus on bees seems too specific to be a coincidence in Marvel's Spider-Man 2
The Emily May Foundation has a lot to explore, much like the underwater and space exhibits at Oscorp in Miles MoralesIn the flashback, there don't seem to be any obvious Easter eggs or allusions to parse about how the origins of future villains might play out. In fact, there was no effort to trace the symbiote to a substance that Oscorp had found while exploring space; It simply landed on Earth and Oscorp randomly located it based on the context presented in a brief flashback. Still, there's a slim chance that Swarm could emerge from the particular emphasis on bees that Emily-May shows players if Insomniac wanted it to.
To be clear, nothing about this scene seems to explicitly indicate that Swarm is being teased

The EMF experiments with bee drones in the entomology lab never really relate to anything other than the environmentally and tech-conscious startup's sustainability and restoration goals, supported by Osborn funding. Regardless, it's a remarkably long lab sequence dedicated to bee imagery, rather than one that players can experience on their own, such as feeding nearby fish, which makes it seem unmistakably important about the beyond simply introducing players to one of the EMF mini-games they are playing. Will see it later.
The story of SWARM in Marvel's Spider-Man deserves its way into the games
The backstory of Swarm's source material as Fritz von Meyer is unclear, if not complicated, and it would certainly be difficult to adapt into anything comparable Marvel's Spider-Manlet alone a presumably final entry in the series that doesn't give much time to any character that hasn't been revealed yet. However, that's not because they haven't tried.
Assuming this rare line of dialogue and the comic book are still considered canon, SWARM actually already exists as a villain, and that should be enough to get his foot in the door Marvel's Spider-Man 3 relying heavily on Emily-May's old entomology bee lab and adding SWARM to its roster of in-game antagonists. SWARM's design for the comic is easily one of the most original and unique aesthetics of any lesser-known villain adaptation, and it would be a shame not to see it in the game before Insomniac finishes the book Marvel's Spider-Man.
