Marvel's Spider-Man With the siege of Fisk Tower, the player immediately jumps into the action and is incredibly humble in the opening sequences, even though Peter Parker has already been Spider-Man for eight years at this point. Marvel's Spider-Man thrives when it delves into original storytelling, even if many of those moments borrow heavily from comic book influences like Mr. Negative and Devil's Breath, and only then Marvel's Spider-Man 2 that the true nebulous nature of the narrative is fully revealed. The players learn continuously Marvel's Spider-Man that Harry Osborn is suffering from an illness and that his father Norman is doing everything he can to cure him.
Norman Osborn can be obnoxious when he appears in public, especially when he has the opportunity to portray a quietly angry Dr. to annoy Otto Octavius. However, he is clearly deeply upset by his son's condition and is probably still grieving the loss of his wife. Harry is then released from his stasis chamber Marvel's Spider-Man 2which consequently releases an alien symbiote. Therefore, Harry is at the root of every major story development in the story Marvel's Spider-Man series and Norman's frantic attempts to cure him are at least partially responsible for the emergence of several major antagonists.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance has paid its respects to many heroes and villains, but one character's rogues gallery might be worth missing from the next entry.
Harry Osborn is a tragic figure at the heart of Marvel's Spider-Man
Not unlike many classic Spider-Man stories, the Osborns are at the heart of the Marvel's Spider-Man Franchise. Insomniac spins this story in an interesting way, as neither Harry nor Norman are particularly bad people. Norman was simply trying to heal Harry, while Harry was trying to “heal the world” in honor of his mother, but their actions caused misfortune and conflict for two of the three Marvel's Spider-Man Games so far:
-
Norman developed Devil's Breath (or GR-27) solely to cure Harry Marvel's Spider-Manalthough it is incomplete and Otto gets his hands on it to use as a bioweapon.
-
The symbiote bond to Harry was a means to cure him or at least keep him in stasis while other solutions could be found, but his parasitic hive mind wreaks havoc Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Once Harry is released and the symbiote briefly clings to Peter.
-
At the end, Norman demands the G-SERUM Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is another attempt to cure Harry, and will undoubtedly lead to a goblin opponent, be it Norman, Harry, or someone else entirely.
Harry has always been altruistic, as shown in Marvel's Spider-Man's research stations and Marvel's Spider-Man 2Emily May Foundation. There will be a new grassroots edition of the EMF from Peter's Garage waiting for Harry when he manages to recover Marvel's Spider-Man 3but considering how many times Norman has failed to save him, it seems as if Harry is doomed to a sad fate that his father could only postpone for so long.
Whatever the case, without Harry's illness there would be no devil breath outbreak or symbiote invasion, and the same illness is guaranteed to trigger everything Marvel's Spider-Man 3The plot also turns around.
Norman Osborn's downfall leads to a green goblin in Marvel's Spider-Man 3
If Norman experiments on Harry with the G-SERUM, there is a high chance that Harry will become another villain Marvel's Spider-Manthis time with a glider, pumpkin bombs and an armored suit. However, it would be strange to double down on Harry as a villain and insult the character even more than he already has.
Norman's intentions come from the heart, but Harry is now more of a lab rat than anything else. However, there is no logical reason why Norman would take the G-SERUM instead, and hopefully if he becomes the Green Goblin there is a reasonable explanation.
