How to defeat everyone who opposes you in Ys Memoire: The Oath In Felghana!
There are accessories that give it a little more depth. Some of them are used in combat, while others are purely for traversal. They come in all shapes and sizes, and you might miss every single one of them. Here you can find them all and what exactly they do.
Each accessory and what it does
In total, There are six accessories you can purchase in Oath in Felghana, each with a dramatically different effect. Most of them have a fairly unique purpose, but others can be used more creatively or extensively. Here's what each of them does:
- Firewyrm amulet – Allows walking in low layers of lava.
- Nightfire Jewel – Illuminates dark areas and reveals illusions.
- Stone shoes – Allows normal walking on slippery surfaces.
- Ghost Cloak – Passively restores your HP while standing still.
- Silver chimes – Allows you to permanently defeat certain undead enemies.
- Ghost necklace – Revives you with full HP when equipped, but cancels after one use.
The Firewyrm Amulet and Silver Chime are the simplest of thesemust be used in very specific scenarios and then not at all. The Stone Shoes are slightly more useful against some slime enemies, such as the ones that appear in the Bell Tower, as they prevent you from slipping in their slime.
The Nightfire Gem has the ability to reveal illusions, however this ability is only revealed in Valestein Castle, and this is one of the few cases where this additional function is observed. The Spirit Cape and Spirit Necklace are definitely the highlights of them allThis provides a more tactical advantage that is applicable throughout the game.
In the case of the Spirit Necklace: It is intended for single use and must then be purchased again.
Where to find the individual accessories
Although this is unlikely to happen, Every single accessory can be missing since none of them are actually mandatory to complete the game. Although it might be difficult to do this without them, it is possible, and that means that it is quite possible that you are missing out on an accessory that would help you a lot.
To ensure you don't end up in this unfortunate scenario, Here you will find every single accessory in the game:
Accesories |
Where to get it |
---|---|
Firewyrm amulet |
In a chest after falling into a hole in the lava zone. |
Nightfire Jewel |
Given by Aida after giving her Bob's pendant. |
Stone shoes |
Found in an icy cave in the inner part of Elderm Mountain. |
Ghost Cloak |
Behind a wall that can be broken with the Terra Bracelet in the Illburns Ruins. |
Silver chimes |
On the far right in the lower area of the Dark Shrine. |
Ghost necklace |
Can be purchased at any time at Cynthia's Curios Shop in Redmont. |
In the case of the Nightfire Gem, it's pretty easy to walk into the abandoned mine without ever realizing it There is an accessory that will actually help you get your bearings if you haven't spoken to the NPCs around you.
Always make sure you talk to NPCs as they often provide clues to other accessories and secrets in the game.
However, the spirit necklace is the accessory you need to be most careful with. The purchase costs 60,000 gold the first time and breaks after one use. It then doubles in price up to 120,000 gold for the next one. Such money is quite hard to come by, so only use it when you absolutely need it, such as the final boss.
