Like any good fantasy universe, Guild Wars 2 has presented some excellent mysteries and provided answers to burning questions over the years. Case in point: the Wizard's Tower in Secrets of the Obscure, the true origins of the Sylvari and the Pale Tree, and the fate of the Dwarves and Glint's First Scion.

Best role-playing games with mysterious worlds
Some incredible role-playing games are supported by the creativity and intrigue that comes from the mysterious worlds that inhabit the games themselves.
However, there are still some big question marks over much of the series' lore that have many fans wondering at night. Some of these mysteries may be answered in the near future with the introduction of ArenaNet's new “mini-expansion” model. However, the answers to others can get lost in the dangling storylines of time.
Malyck and the other tree
The flower from another bosom
It's been some time since “Heart of Thorns” and the revelation that the Pale Tree was actually intended to be a champion of the dragon Mordemoth. The expansion would have been the best time to turn to Malyck, a sylvari said to have come from another tree. Bobby Stein, one of the writers at ArenaNet, explained that Malyck's involvement in the expansion was cut due to time constraints.
This is not surprising given the content included GW2is the first expansion. While this may mean that Malyck is never visited again and his time has passed, there is always the possibility that the lore of the Sylvari will be revisited and expanded upon, perhaps in a nearby unexplored jungle area, and his mysterious backstory will be resolved .
The Asura and Mursaat
Investigating the Rata-Sum Connection
When the Asura first emerged from the surface, they appeared among ruins that can be viewed in Eye of the North, where they founded their city of Rata Sum. Some have speculated that these are the ruins of a lost city of Mursaat. However, the Mursaat architecture found elsewhere is crystalline, obsidian-like, and distinctly different from the Mesoamerican designs of the Asura. It is possible that the Asura simply found the ruins of a lost surface pioneer group and continued building where they left off.

However, there are many striking similarities between the Asura and the Mursaat, including their penchant for using constructs (golems and jade armor), their mastery of magic and soul manipulation, and their superiority complexes. Back in 2007, ArenaNet hinted that the connection between Asura and Mursaat would be explained in more detail Guild Wars 2but that hasn't happened yet and fans are still speculating as to why “mursaat” and “Rata Sum” have the same letters.
Teacher Doern Velazquez
The invader from another place, time or reality
The Order of Rumors thrives on secrecy, but few members are as enigmatic as Doern Velazquez. When players first meet him, they can ask him about his origins. His first response is: “Kyrta? No. I mean, yes. The human nation, right?” He then uncomfortably admits that his true origins are “secret.” His Hispanic name is unusual in Tyria, but the fact that he doesn't know Kryta is very surprising considering he lives there.
Does Doern come from an invisible part of Tyria or even from another world? It's also possible that “Doern Velazquez” is a cover name, part of an elaborate mind game designed to confuse and disarm new recruits to the shadowy spy network. It could also have been a way for the developers to immerse players in the mysterious world structure and thus hint at a larger, invisible world. One way or another, even with access to the Pact Commander level, players still haven't been informed of the matter.
The Identity of “E”
The anonymous correspondent with inside information
During the first three seasons of Living World, players began finding cryptic letters marked “E.” This enigmatic figure appeared to have extensive insider knowledge of local political intrigue and events. With so many characters Guild Wars 2 With names starting with E, fans go into speculation mode, suspecting that it could be Ellen Kiel, Evon Gnashblade, or even an entirely new character.

For the investigative gamer out there, these mystery games are perfect to uncover many secrets lurking within.
A popular theory is that “E” was Evennia, a prominent figure who disappeared at the end of Guild Wars Propheciesand given the precedent of the long-lived Livia, this is entirely possible. Despite her involvement in important events, “E”'s true identity was never revealed, so the mystery remained for years. GW2White Mantle's story continued after Season 3, and E's story was seemingly abandoned, forever relegated to the “It's probably just a pun” opinion group.
Bahltek & Utopia
A visitor from the continent that never existed
Before ArenaNet ventured into the sequel, ArenaNet had planned to make the next one Guild Wars “Utopia” campaign in the fog. In Utopia there would have been time travel, forgotten gods and beings with incomprehensible knowledge and magic. A clue to this was Bahltek, who could be encountered on the islands of Istan during the Nightfall campaign.
Bahltek alludes to magical mirrors, ghost ships, stars, and his search for artifacts with a certain “archaemetric infusion” of a magician who has the power to transcend time and even planes of existence, but refuses to elaborate. Once spoken to, he refuses to speak to the player again. Even after “Utopia” was canceled, ArenaNet staff continued to drop hints that players might still see it later Guild Wars 2. However, Secrets of the Obscure, the expansion that would most likely address this thread point, has come and gone, making its reappearance unlikely.
The homelands of the Ash Legion
Ash shadows on the Eastern Front
The Ash Legion is known for its stealth and secrecy, but after more than a decade of stories, there is a dearth of lore surrounding the Fourth High Legion Guild Wars 2 is impressive. Not even an Ash Legion player character is privy to the details that a charr would expect when practically born into its ranks.

The 8 Best Open World Stealth Games, Ranked
Open-world games usually focus on exploration and adventure, but some allow players to move through environments stealthily, like these great examples
In the opening chapter of The Icebrood Saga, players returned to the charr homelands and saw part of the lands the Blood Legion calls home. The Ash Legion's territory is believed to lie east of Ascalon in the desert, but beyond that no word has been said about Ash's geography, culture, or history. Hopefully that will be something Guild Wars 2 may be corrected in the near future.
Behind the Tengu Wall (and other blocked paths)
Fill the kingdom of the four winds
There are a handful of gateways GW2 which have been around since launch and have not been converted into usable zone portals, unlike the one in Vandal's Claim, which now leads to the Silverwastes. Two of the most enticing gates in the entire game lead to the Domain of the Winds, home of the Tengu. The domain is divided into two squares on the map, one next to Lion's Arch and the other on the edge of Caladon Forest.
There has been very little news about Krytan Tengu over the years, but fans are still speculating about what might be hiding behind the massive stone walls. Of all the candidates in Tyria, the Tengu have the greatest chance of becoming a playable race, and this would be their starting zone. While they would make a great addition to the already interesting cast of fantasy races, a new addition like this seems unlikely at this point.
The gods and the origins of humanity
Look into the opaque Pantheon
For those out of the loop, the people of Tyria are not native to the world. Rather, they were brought into the world by their gods long ago. Where man originally came from has never been answered or even speculated about. Although the gods were originally “silent,” they appeared in person in numerous cases Guild Wars 2especially in “Path of Fire.” However, they were reticent to say the least when it came to answering burning questions on screen.
In addition to their origins, there are still many unanswered questions about the Pantheon. Before his destruction, the fallen war god Balthazar curses all other gods except Lyssa, the twin goddess of chaos. Why did Lyssa lend Balthasar her mirror, which he used to deceive the world after his return? What happened to Balthazar's half-brother Menzies? And when the dragon's threat is over, will the gods consider returning? Given the demise of the God of War, it is unlikely that there will be any answers any time soon.
