Keen-eyed Grand Theft Auto fans have noticed that Rockstar Games has removed the GTA 6 reveal trailer from its YouTube page, raising hopes that we could see something new soon.
When Rockstar Games finally revealed Grand Theft Auto 6 to the world this time last year with a release date of 2025, fans thought we'd get fairly consistent updates on progress. In fact, there were around a million theories about when we would get new screenshots or the famous trailer 2.

GTA 6 trailer 1 is no longer pinned on Rockstar's YouTube channel
As spotted by Redditor Affectionate-Mode766 on the GTA 6 subreddit, Rockstar Games' YouTube channel has undergone a strange change in the last few days. While the reveal trailer for GTA 6 was pinned to the top of the channel for most of 2024, it was suddenly removed shortly after the anniversary.
Using the Wayback Machine, we can see that the trailer was actually pinned at the top of the channel for most of the year and is now, for whatever reason, back in the list of uploaded videos. Some fans reported that it was appearing for those who weren't subscribed to the channel, but now it appears to be unpinned for everyone.
As always when it comes to potential GTA 6 news, we're wondering what exactly it all means. It could simply be a YouTube glitch or the pin on Rockstar's channel expiring, but that seems a little boring. The most interesting possible outcome is that Rockstar intentionally removed the reveal trailer to make room for something new like a second trailer.
It could also be just one of many hints from Rockstar, who is certainly aware that their every move is being watched by fans hoping that Trailer 2 somehow survives 2024. We won't know for sure until something more concrete happens, but it's an interesting development if you're as excited as most GTA fans.
