Gran Turismo 7Update 1.52 is just around the corner and brings with it several new additions to the racing game. The patch is available to all players and introduces three Japanese-branded cars Gran Turismo 7as well as new events for World Circuits and other additions.
Gran Turismo 7 The launch was rocky due to server problems and the announcement of microtransactions only came after reviews had already gone live. Since 2022, Polyphony Digital has been releasing free updates almost monthly, constantly adding new content such as cars, events, race tracks and other quality of life improvements. Previous Gran Turismo 7 Updates usually add new vehicles to the game, and some even bring race tracks, such as the Eiger North Face track that was last available Gran Turismo 6.
Update 1.52 for Gran Turismo 7 launching today at 11pm PST for PS5 and PS4 and will add three new Japanese sports cars, including the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR GSR '04, Nissan GT-R Premium Edition T-spec '24 and the white Toyota Hiace Van DX '16. With this latest update, the racing game will have a total of 517 cars to choose from, an incredible feat considering the effort required to produce new cars Gran Turismo 7. Three of them are special editions in the game.
In addition to the vehicles, the update brings new World Circuits events: the Sunday Cup for the Tokyo Expressway, the Nissan GT-R Cup for the Circuit de Sainte-Croix and the Evolution Meeting for the Kyoto Driving Park, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza and circuits in Colorado Springs. The cafe will also offer an additional menu for Gran Turismo 7this time a collection: Audi, only available to collectors from level 42. Other additions in the update include the presentation of the AI agent Gran Turismo Sophy on the Brands Hatch – Grand Prix Circuit and Dragon Trail – Seaside tracks, as well as the highlighting of Chicago in the featured curation of Scapes.
Polyphony Digital has provided admirable support Gran Turismo 7but what could really change the game's performance and graphics is the upcoming PlayStation 5 Pro. Following the announcement, Sony released a list of games that would receive technical upgrades on the PS5 Pro that would improve FPS, graphics, or both. One of the games scheduled to be updated on the PS5 Pro is Gran Turismo 7with promises of 8K graphics in Fidelity mode or 60 FPS with ray tracing reflections during gameplay in likely Performance mode.
The PS5 Pro is scheduled to be released on November 7th. Then players can see if Sony is keeping its promise to further improve Gran Turismo 7is without compromising on performance or whether it actually offers the legendary 8K resolution.
