Genshin Impact has officially introduced Yumemizuki Mizuki as a 5-star Anemo character from Inazuma who will make her playable debut in version 5.4. Since version 5.3 is expected to conclude the storyline in Natlan, Genshin Impact is preparing its players for a little adventure in Inazuma in the upcoming update. The flagship event will take place in Inazuma and will largely revolve around the Yokai, with Yae Miko taking center stage.
Mizuki in Genshin Impact has been heavily rumored as a playable character since late 2024, with many leaks suggesting that she will become Inazuma's first standard banner character. The beta for version 5.4 confirmed Mizuki's status as the default banner, but also revealed her abilities and intended role. As a 5-star Anemo Catalyst, Yumemizuki Mizuki can be considered a premium sucrose with healing abilities. While there are niches where Sucrose Mizuki excels, her flexible role should give the new 5-star a spot on most Taser teams.

Genshin Impact leak announces event for new version 5.4
A recent Genshin Impact leak hints at a new character-focused event coming to the game with the upcoming version 5.4 update.
The official Genshin Impact The account revealed Yumemizuki Mizuki on Twitter a week later than expected, as drip marketing continues to be completely unpredictable since version 5.3. Although Mizuki was known as Tapir-Yokai for a time, drip marketing revealed that she was a psychologist and majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Mizuki seems to be an old friend of Yae Miko Genshin Impactand therefore it is very likely that Mizuki will make her introduction during the flagship event. Apart from that, Genshin Impact Players can also expect a story quest for Mizuki in version 5.4.
Genshin Impact: Yumemizuki Mizuki
- title: Embrace enchanting dreams
- rarity: 5 stars
- vision: Anemo
- weapon: Catalyst
- constellation: Tapirus Somniator
As for event banners, version 5.4 is expected to feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half of the patch, while Furina and Sigewinne will be the headliners in the second half. It should be noted that Mizuki will be collapsed into the default banner Genshin Impact after version 5.4 and that collection-oriented players should instead focus on acquiring their signature weapon.
Although version 5.3 is full of content, the scope of version 5.4 is significantly smaller. It will only contain one new character Genshin Impacta story quest, not an artifact domain and there will be no new map expansion. Therefore, the number of Primogems players can obtain in version 5.4 is below average. Unless they find a character from the Chronicled Banner particularly enticing in version 5.3, players should try to save their Lantern Rite rewards for version 5.4, especially if they want to get Fontaine Superstars like Furina or Wriothesley.
