French PM urges united front to stop far-right takeover

ARIS: France’s prime minister urged voters on Wednesday to form a united front to block the far-right in parliamentary elections, warning that Marine Le Pen’s anti-immigration party was on the verge of winning an absolute majority. With four days to go before the second round of voting, France’s political future remains up in the air as the far-right National Assembly (RN) party seeks to take control of the government for the first time.
