Fortnite's next big chapter is just around the corner as the ongoing Chapter 2 Remix ends on December 1st after a big Juice WRLD concert. After that, Chapter 6 will finally begin, but even though it's just a few days away, we still don't know much about it. There have been many rumors, such as a possible collaboration with Godzilla and a theme based around Japanese mythology, but no concrete details have been released. That is, until today.
As has happened several times in the past, the key art for Chapter 6, Season 1 was leaked on Twitter ahead of the launch date and shared by various Fortnite insiders and dataminers. This key art was first leaked by dataminers called ResetzFtw and SamLeakss before being shared by one of the biggest Fortnite insiders out there on Hypex. You can see the art for yourself below.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 Leak Reveals Godzilla and Baymax
First of all, you'll probably notice the giant Godzilla emerging from the clouds in the background, confirming that he will be coming to the island in one way or another, be it an event or otherwise. In the distance, Baymax can also be seen flying in his red armor alongside all the other characters, so a collaboration with Big Hero 6 is also practically confirmed.
Each of the characters also appears to be dressed in fairly stereotypical ninja and samurai outfits, which, along with the giant Godzilla in the background, also confirms that the theme of Chapter 6 is entirely Japanese. Additionally, it looks like pet backblings could return, while katana melee weapons are also on the line, and it looks like Hope has a new skin too. There's quite a lot to learn from this one image, and we should find out a little more in the coming days.
Fortnite started as a tower defense game and has grown into one of the biggest video games ever. Its battle royale mode dominates popular culture, featuring concerts from megastar musicians and crossovers with just about every brand imaginable, from Marvel to the NFL.
